I blew my goal OUT OF THE WATER at the Women Run the D race this morning ๐Ÿ˜ญMy last 5k in June I ran a 27:21 race for my first ever 5k. My goal for this race was 26:30, and I finished in 23:23 and came in SECOND PLACE in my age group out of 46 amazing women ๐Ÿฉท

HUGE THANK YOU to at for helping me get back to where I needed to be physically to do this after spraining my proximal hamstring tendon in July โญ๏ธ

Going to continue to train my butt off until the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot if I want to beat this new time! ๐Ÿฆƒ

This isnโ€™t a โ€œbetter or worseโ€ post. Itโ€™s a โ€œI wanted to make changes and didnโ€™t know what to doโ€ post.

I didnโ€™t make this transform on my own. I had a coach, several actually, that helped get me here. I remember being 15 months post partum after Noah, walking into what was then known as Powerhouse Gym Fraser, and stopping dead in my tracks because I had no idea what to actually do.

It was then, in summer of 2015, that I hired my first personal trainer. To say it was life changing might be cliche, but that is truly the understatement of the century. I fell in love with training, and learning about nutrition, and It changed the trajectory of my life.

I knew I needed to do this for a living, to show other women what their true potential was. Since becoming certified in 2019, I have helped hundreds of people, change their lives. Iโ€™ve helped people lose weight, gain muscle, learned how to make eating health fun, helped people get off medications, and so much more. To say this is my passion is also an understatement.

Life really has come full circle, when got the phone call from about joining the team at (formerly Powerhouse Gym Fraserโค๏ธ) I knew that was a sign, and I had to take the leap. Now, Iโ€™m back where my journey began, ready to change more lives just like mine was changed.
