I'm sad to say this but crying happy tears cause Nick is no longer in pain! Our baby lost his long hard battle with cancer at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 3, 2024. He fought for so long and so hard right up till his last breath. He will forever have a spot etched in our hearts and souls. If you ever met him , you loved him! RIP My Nick! MiMi loves and still loves you more than a fat kid loves chocolate cake! Tell Logan that MiMi and everyone else loves and misses him too! Y'all have a blast until I see you both again!

It has been a while since posting on this page but it has been one thing after another and I am here to let Satan know that no matter how much he is trying to destroy he will lose because Our Heavenly Father is fixing to show up and show out! Nick was in the hospital and was sent home with news nobody wanted to hear but in the NAME OF JESUS WE ARE NOT CLAIMING IT!! WE KNOW GOD CAN PROVIDE MIRACLES AND I HAVE FAITH THAT NICK WILL SURVIVE AND WOW, HE IS GONNA HAVE A TESTIMONY FOR EVERYONE! THANK YOU FATHER IN JESUS NAME I PRAY! NICK, You know how much I love you? More than a fat kid loves chocolate cake! We have pranks to do and places to go so fight fight and fight some more and I already know you got it in you. You are one tough cookie! Hi everyone. Hope your weekend was great. It's getting close to Nick's appointment on the 19th and his family is praying for a Christmas miracle. Nick was sent home from the hospital with oxygen and at this point it is crucial that he gets to MD Anderson. So far, no donations have come through. The American cancer Society has helped tremendously. They provided Nick with a hotel for his stay and gave several places to call for transportation but the waiting period or advance reservations were not an option due to his recent hospital stay. I understand it's the holidays and everyone is busy getting everything together for their own families and friends and that's exactly what you are supposed to be doing and I hope this doesn't step on any toes and get taken out of proportion but if it does then I apologize but I'm still gonna say it.
What if this was your child or grandchild or brother or nephew or any family member for that matter and your hands were tied because of financial hardship but you know THERE IS NO OTHER OPTIONS OUT THERE FOR TREATMENT?? I Can't even imagine how his mama feels . Can y'all? She lost her job and hasn't been able to pay rent in a while so she is worrying about not only, her sons condition but having to worrying about a roof over there heads and food to eat, among other things. Her own health is not good and again, I can't begin to know all the emotions going on with her, because I know as his great-aunt,(his, MiMi), it's killing me to see him so sick and I pray every night for God to let me take his place and if that was possible, I would do it without hesitation. Nick is the strongest, funniest, well mannered young man I know. He would help anybody he could without question
All I am asking of anyone is to look deep in your soul and find a way to help them. They have the room but they have to get there to occupy it. Plus, they need a way back home and they have to have a way to and from the hospital and they have to eat and drink. If I had it to give it to them, I would give all I had and wouldn't be asking for anyone's help but I don't and I am not saying that any of you do either. All I'm asking is to give what you can cause we never lmow
It migh be us or one of our family members who need help and not be able to find it so, Just think about it and go from there but prayers are free so please say a prayer for all involved and have a. blessed week. Thanks again and God Bless.

Update from Nick's mama! God is great and Nick will get to Houston.

I wanted to thank Everyone for prayers visits and phone calls while nicks was in hospital this last week we’re finally home now they sent him home on Oxygen. We have our appointment at Ms Anderson hospital in Texas on the 20th of this month. Continued prayers please. Also prayers that we get some kinda income coming in we’ve not been able to pay our rent in few months due to loosing our jobs and having to spend what little money we get on groceries and pay lights. I know this is a little personal to put out there but he and his brothers and I are already going through so much I don’t want him to get kicked out of his home. So thanks all for prayers I know God Is Amazing and I know he will provide a way as he always does. Just don’t want him stressing over any thing else right now with all he’s Already going through God Bless Everyone.

This is an update for today on Nick from his mama. Please keep them in your prayers.

Update on Nick he does have a touch of pneumonia but they tried taking oxygen off bout 30 minutes and it went down to 30%. So had to put it back on quickly. It’s good as long as he has it on I know today is busy but please continue to pray for my baby. Which is a grown Man but Always my baby. God Bless Everyone

From Nick's mama! Prayers please

Asking all Prayer Warriors prayers for Nick again he was admitted to Copiaha County Medical Center in Hazelhurst last night due too dehydration pain and being nauseous. There fixing to do x ray on chest because it sounds very conjested to make sure he doesn’t have pneumonia also. If he doesn’t they might let him go home in the morning. Thanks and God Bless

OK! I finally got back in my computer. Please bare with me as I try and get this page up and going.

I will hopefully get better with it as time goes on!

Tonight I am gonna focus on tagging everyone that I can. That way hopefully it will get shared to lots and lots of people because we need all the help and prayers we can get.

Nick, his mother (Brenda Grubbs) and myself (Michelle Sojourner-Kyle) will be going to Houston, TX on 12-19-2022 and will be there until Nick is able to return home.
