I almost didn’t post these. The “before” was 3 weeks postpartum, and I could easily write it off as not a “real” depiction of the before, but the truth is… I stayed in that weight range for 1.5 years after having my last baby.

I tried so hard to lose the weight on my own — dieting and trying to move as much as possible, while being the only caregiver to 3 small kids. Nothing really worked, I lost maybe 10 lbs “on my own”. Then I started my GLP1 journey.

Same clothes. Same spot. Same me — but transformed.

This isn’t just about the weight. It’s about energy. Confidence. Comfort in your skin. The ability to carry your kids without feeling like they need to carry you back inside.

If you’re feeling stuck — especially postpartum, perimenopausal, or just plain frustrated — I see you. I’ve been there. And I’d love to help you take your next step.

Spring clean your fridge for success!
Visibility = Accessibility.
When healthy snacks are the first thing you see, you’re more likely to grab them.
This one tiny shift makes a big difference in your daily choices—especially when you’re balancing cravings, busy schedules, and staying on track with your GLP-1 journey.

Yes, you can literally dance in the rain (and if you do—tag us!).
But more than that, this is your reminder to move in ways that bring you joy, even if the conditions aren’t perfect.
Rainy day? Dance in the kitchen.
Busy schedule? Stretch between calls.
Feeling low? Put on your favorite song and sway your stress away.
Movement doesn’t have to be big—it just has to be yours.
Find your rhythm, rain or shine.

Taking time to eat slowly, chewing your food thoroughly, and resting between bites all lead to enjoying your food more, eating less, and feeling fuller, which ultimately can lead to weight loss. This Tiny Tip Tuesday is to put your fork down between bites. Enjoy the company you are with, engage in good conversation. If you are eating alone, just take the time to reflect on your day, or plan for your day ahead. Be present. Eating quickly can often lead to overeating.
Is this something you practice? Could you try it and see if it helps?

Every year my kids and I take a picture in March wearing green (just a random little tradition since green is my favorite color). Well last year I had just started on my medical weight loss journey. I had tried exercising and dieting, but was making little to no progress and had only lost about 10 lbs in the 1.5 years since having my last baby. Over the past year I’ve lost 50 more pounds. Sometimes it is hard to see slow, progressive changes, but when it is right here staring me in the (literal) face, the change is pretty obvious. I am a firm believer that you can be beautiful at any size, but personally I am feeling so much happier, more confident, and I have more energy for my kids! Not only am I feeling better, but I am happy in knowing that I’m taking the steps that I have control over to be here for these kiddos for the long haul.

Emotional eating isn't as much about willpower as it is about awareness. If every time you really thought about why you were reaching for a snack you were able to identify the reason you wanted it, it would be MUCH easier to decide if you were really hungry or just bored, sad, or even celebrating something. If you realize consciously, "I'm not actually hungry, I'm just bored", you probably would do something other than snack, right? So next time you find yourself reaching for the fridge door, or perusing your pantry ask yourself "why". If the answer is because you are hungry, great, go ahead and get a snack!! If the answer is something other than hunger, use that information to address the root of the issue.
Do you find emotional eating to be a challenge you face?

Sometimes it is the smallest changes that make the biggest impact. Today's Tiny Tip is to try switching out your usual plates for smaller ones. Studies show that using a smaller plate will help you decrease your portion sizes without feeling deprived. Lots of open space on your plate leads to one of 2 things: feeling deprived, or filling the plate up with more food. Neither of these are helpful when trying to lose weight.
Try this and let me know if you notice a difference!

Movement doesn’t have to come from a structured workout—sometimes, it’s just about finding little opportunities throughout your day!
Like the other day, when I was waiting for my 5-year-old to finish using the potty in a public restroom. Instead of just standing there staring at the wall, I thought—why not move? With no one around, I did some countertop push-ups while I waited. A few reps here and there may not seem like much, but over time, those little moments add up!
This week’s challenge: Every time you pass a certain door in your home, do a wall push-up. Just one small habit to sneak in extra movement! What’s a creative way you’ve fit in movement lately? Drop it in the comments! 👇

💖 Move for Love 💖
This Valentine’s week, the focus is often on showering others with love. (And I am all about showing the people you love how much they mean to you), but let’s not forget to show yourself love too. Moving your body is one of the greatest acts of self-care—it boosts confidence, strengthens your heart, and nurtures your mind.
Need some ideas?
🚶‍♀️ Take a walk
🧘‍♂️ Stretch it out
💃 Dance like nobody’s watching
🏋️‍♀️ Lift something heavy
Whatever movement makes you feel GOOD, do more of that today. 💪💕 Because self-love isn’t just about words—it’s about ACTION.

✨ Move More Monday Tip ✨
Who says work and movement can’t go hand in hand? 💼➡️💪 One of my favorite hacks to sneak in extra steps is using a standing desk and marching in place while I work! (This is how I started, but I’ve since added a walking pad)

Not only does it keep me energized throughout the day, but it’s also a great way to crush those movement goals without hitting the gym. 🚶‍♀️✅
💡 Pro tip: Start small—set a timer for 5-minute intervals, and before you know it, you’ll have moved for half your workday!
So, how are YOU adding more movement to your Monday? Let me know in the comments! 👇👇
