Medicare Victim?

When Medicare beneficiaries fall prey to consumer scams aimed at obtaining Medicare and/or health ID numbers, their Medicare and/or health ID number is considered to be “compromised” as a result of medical identity theft. The good news is that you can stay vigilant to prevent, detect, and report medical identity theft.
The SMP program was established to empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report suspected health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education.

Affordable Care Act is not so affordable in 2026.

When this program was passed, and begun in 2012, it was only designed to last until 2026 for tax breaks and low cost plans.
This is the year that the ACA was originally designed to let premiums end and rates rise. It is here. Be aware your policy will have major increases.

If you haven't checked....you have a few more days. Don't find yourself without insurance do to high cost.

ACA INCREASES ARE EXTREMLY HIGH IN 2026
No settlement was reached in congress.

if you are on Marketplace/Obamacare be aware of the cost increase. Open Enrollment ends soon and you may find yourself unable to afford your current plan. Most plans doubled in cost, so be sure to check your cost, Doctors and hospital changes.

ONIONS
On our porch are 50 # bags of onions. They are free to community. Don't be greedy, but you are welcome to take whole bag and give to your neighbors. These are not for restaurants.

Inside are more bags of onions, grapes, oranges, potatoes, breads, Carrots, etc. You will need proof ID, to pick up an assorted food box.

SCAMS: Medicare would never contact you on social media to ask for your Medicare Number, Social Security Number, or other personal information. If someone you don’t know asks for your details, block them. We only anwser your questions on social media and direct you to a Medicare Counselor in your area. Or 1-800-medicare.

*****Blessing Box Update*****

All of our Blessing Boxes have now been fully reserved, and we no longer have any additional boxes available.
If you have already reserved a box, pickup will be at Cornerstone Church on Saturday, December 20 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Thank you to everyone who shared, supported, and helped make this possible for our community.

BLESSING BOX UPDATE! We still have a few Blessing boxes available for families who could use one this Christmas. Each box includes everything needed for a Christmas dinner, extra pantry supplies and sweet treats for your family.
Pick up: 10am-noon
Location: 1900 Lexington Dr. Clinton, OK. Cornerstone Church. Enjoy some coffee/hot cocoa and sweet treats while you pick up your box. 🙂
