Federal government released partial payment at Midnight Sunday night. Look on snap card for your payment.

The Oklahoma Human Services has received guidance to issue partial SNAP benefits for November, which recipients will be able to see available within 24 hours.

You should receive Medicare Summary Notices (MSNs) if you have Original Medicare. You should receive Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) if you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or Part D plan.

MSNs and EOBs provide a summary of the services and items you have received and how much you may be billed for them. Remember that MSNs and EOBs are not bills.

If you need help reviewing your Medicare statements, you can contact your local, MAP/ SHIP or SMP. Located at 2250 Modelle, Clinton and 1007 Main, Woodward, Ok. In the Opportunities, Inc. community action Clinton Resource Center and Woodward Resource Center.

Weatherford Blessing Box

What started as a small, neighborhood-focused effort to combat food insecurity has blossomed into a remarkable display of community generosity, with a local “blessings box” now serving an estimated five to ten families daily.

Neighbors Carli Musick, left, and Rhonda Butterbaugh, right, launched the initiative to address growing food insecurity — especially among families with children — amid concerns over potential SNAP benefit reductions.

The blessings box is located at 156 McKenzie Drive in Weatherford.

Little Pantry is stocked for weekened. Please take what you need. For those wanting to donate, place your items in the black drop box. Little Pantry is set outside every weekend when closed, since we are open during week for the big Pantry. We leave the lights on and cameras rolling for your safety at night. Blessing's to all.

SCOUTING FOR FOOD 2025 Weatherford, OK
Scouts will be picking up donated non-perishable boxed & canned goods this Saturday, Nov. 8th. Donations need to be left out before 8am in plain view from the street. Preferably at the curb if possible. Labeling bags “scouts” is appreciated.
