Some cute throwbacks of me in my yoga trapeze that I use sometimes for my personal practice. 💟
Starting from a young age the idea of movement intrigued me. I was a dancer, a gymnast, a cheerleader, a swimmer, etc. I was about 19 when yoga really started to show me what it had to offer. I went to a hot yoga class with . At the time my life was a bit all over the place, my mind was not in a good space, but I remember the feeling I had after leaving class that night and I felt nothing short of what I would call magical. ✨ It wasn’t my first ever yoga class but it definitely flipped a switch.
I dabbled here and there in some yoga classes there after, but life seemed to keep getting in the way for a while. It wasn’t until I packed up and moved away from my home town to Colorado and faced countless struggles that I realized yoga was the way. I attended classes regularly before I moved back to Florida and let me tell you, I felt a huge shift in my mind, my emotions and my physical body. Being so passionate about my practice I embarked on this yoga teacher journey shortly after with , oh how I love the team over there!💕
On 11/11/2018 I received my 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate and I felt like a new woman! Three short months later, I found out I was pregnant my sweet daughter. I was faced with some more struggles that threw me out of my practice. But here I am now, my daughter is 6 months old and I’m enjoying my practice all over again and now actually teaching! I’m proud of myself and how far I’ve come on this journey, but this is just the beginning. ✨💓
All in all, life is going to throw us tons of curve balls. Just remember you have the strength to get back up and do what you’re passionate about! Don’t let the hard days, weeks or even months make you lose your focus. You got this! 💪🏼💗✨🧘🏻♀️
