With that being said we can all agree that our health and wellness is of great importance at being our very best. If we refuse to take care of our health everything else doesn’t matter because you won’t enjoy life the way you want to. Take it not only from me but the millions on people who write about this. I suffer from a thyroid disease, a condition affecting the thyroid gland. Working my butt off daily, having kids, suffering through postpartum depression just weighed on me. I remember handing in my leave paper to my principal at the time when I just had my son to get three more months off work, I just couldn’t function and I knew what would happen at work especially to my students. What good was I going to be? Anyway I was denied leave and forced back to work...LONG STORY! Maybe I will share it with you one day. No one at the time understood what I was going through” My body refused to cope. I was stressed, I was not taking care of my health, my body was just not coping I was alone, I had no family close by, it was a rough road. So yeah, I eventually developed this illness, hyperthyroidism, I wouldn’t wish that situation on my worst enemy. That changed my life forever!
Fast track to today, I am blessed to say that my life is where I can see it for a long time : ) I will never be forced to jeopardize my health for any form of materialistic gain. I preach daily, health over wealth and you may see it as just another statement but I live by those words. At the time when I was forced into something I wasn’t happy with I was in a position I couldn’t change at the time, but today I can say my health, my mental state and my family is my priority. Anything that messes with my health or gives me any form of stress or anxiety, I eventually remove myself from it. When you have self love that's the best form of love you can give as you can not love and care for anyone until you are in the right “STATE” firm of mind. Self love is the best love! Unhealthy trends lead to unhappy lives. Thrive to be happy daily.
