Today we took a trip to the Broward Art Guild in Fort Lauderdale! We had the joy of revisiting the stunning artwork created by our very own community—each piece more beautiful than we remembered. We also explored inspiring creations from other communities, turning the gallery into a colorful celebration of imagination and talent. The Lighthouse of Broward brought a touch of holiday magic to our community. We were thrilled to welcome back our wonderful volunteers and spend time together. Residents enjoyed creating beautiful ornaments, decorating festive sugar cookies, and building delightful gingerbread houses. The afternoon was filled with laughter, smiles, and so much joy.

Today’s adventure took us to Benders Farm, and what a fantastic outing it was! Our Director of Culinary, Chef Natacha, joined the fun as we explored the charming indoor farm stand, hand-selecting fresh, colorful vegetables she’ll soon transform into something delicious—we’re already excited!

We also strolled through the beautiful fields, where we picked vibrant peppers and the sweetest cherry tomatoes you could imagine. It was a joyful day filled with fresh air, fresh flavors, and lots of smiles.

Today’s scenic ride to Quiet Waters was absolutely wonderful! The sunshine made it the perfect day to explore, and we even spotted some gorgeous horses along the way. Yesterday’s Men’s Club turned into a lively surprise when the ladies decided to crash the meeting! Officer Chase, Special Guest Detective Jean Saint-Amour and Fire & Safety Specialist Mindy from Coconut Creek brought the room to life with stories from their day-to-day work. Our residents were fascinated to hear what goes into solving cases and keeping the community safe. We truly treasure the warm connection we’ve built with our incredible guests, and we always look forward to every visit from Officer Chase and Firefighter Mindy—they bring so much energy and fun to our community!
