North Star's employee spotlight is Grace who has been with North Star for three years. Grace was hired as a dining room server and now as advanced to prep cook. Grace loves the baking part of her job and experimenting with new recipes so our residents can be her taste testers!!! Grace has a cat as a pet and also has many hobbies such as listening to auto books, working out at the gym with her boyfriend Joseph, playing video games and Bible study with her church. Grace especially likes volunteering in Children's Ministries at her church. Grace met her boyfriend Joseph through a good friend at church. Her favorite part of her job is having the residents try and sample her new creations in cooking. North Star is grateful for having Grace enrich our residents' lives.

Meet are resident spotlights Art and Nancy. Art and Nancy have lived at North Star for two years. Both were raised in Spokane and went to the same high school together. They later married and moved to Coeur d Alene where they raised their two children David and Annette. David now lives in Bend, Oregon and Annette and her husband are in Liberty Lake. Art and Nancy have three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Art worked for the Hagadone Corporation for 42 years as their CFO while Nancy ran the family household. Nancy likes to garden, cook, read and especially travel. Art enjoys fishing and golfing and also likes to travel. They have been fortunate to travel to many places such as Europe, China, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Curacao Islands. Nancy's favorite trip was probably Ireland where she said the land was stunning Art really enjoyed their sailboat trip to the Curacao Islands. Art and Nancy are some of the most pleasant people to be around and North Star is grateful to have them be a part of our family.
