Meet Drew Thomas, M.D.!👋
Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Thomas earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Louisiana Tech University before completing medical school and his ophthalmology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He began his career in Monroe, Louisiana and joined North Idaho Eye Institute in 2019.
Dr. Thomas is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
His clinical focus includes cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK), and comprehensive eye care for patients with diabetes, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. He has a special interest in refractive cataract surgery and takes pride in creating personalized surgical plans tailored to each patient’s vision goals and lifestyle.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Thomas enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and their four children.
