Part of my first phase of training to get this 3rd Spartan ultra done. Last week I did 8 miles on a route that I haven’t taken before that merged with a place I’ve been to countless times before. This week I did something similar and I came upon something new yet again.

Knowing that my life is different now has me thinking quite a bit about how I’ve done things in the past, where I am now, and what to do going forward. And I know there’s really no way to truly prepare for parenthood but I figured that if I could find various ways to push myself, It would provide perspective, adventure, and challenge. Perhaps this would help when the unexpected happens.

Changing the familiar in small ways makes your brain fire in a way that will keep you sharp. Hopefully that will help but time will soon tell. Either way, growth will be taking place.

Ok! So… I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately. That’s because there are some major things in the works for and myself😁

I would usually give a long speech here but I’ll have my time for that but for now I’ll simply say that the adventure is about to level up and I have the perfect person to share this ride with!

The pain cave. I learned this term recently in my listening to accounts of ultra endurance athletes. It turns out that there are different iterations of the pain cave. I use the physical to tap into the mental aspect of it and each time the question of can I do more comes up. For me, it always comes up. When I’m on the trails I wonder where and how far I can go. One day I will answer that question. One day soon.

Do you have that same question? Do you tap into your own pain cave or do you run away from it? What if you stretched yourself a bit? What would you find? Are you curious enough to find out?

We like to expand ourselves. So of course we should expand our offerings as well!

-This hip workshop is great not just for yogis or other people who loves the idea of being a pretzel, but for the chair sitter, the carpooler, even down to the , artist, and . I’ve learned the importance of having good hips or at least striving for them over the years doing

-Have you ever wanted to learn how to turn your world upside down? Or just simply do a handstand? Well we have a workshop for that too!

Both of these workshops are ran by world renowned yoga instructor
and I’m personally looking forward towards getting this information myself! So much so that I’m going to invest the full price to get it! So definitely grab it!

Everyone needs a push at times. Even when we don’t want it. When we say we don’t want it though, the question becomes, why not? If you want more but not doing what is needed to get more, isn’t that a bit oxymoronic?

My job, my purpose as a coach is to use what I’ve learned through education and experience to guide others who stepped up and asked for that push. They want something more and we as a unit prepare for whatever that is for them.
