🚑 Why My EMT-B Training Makes a Difference in CPR & BLS Classes 🫀

I’m excited to share that I have completed the training and am now a licensed EMT-Basic (EMT-B) in the state of Texas—a step that greatly expands my medical knowledge and hands-on experience in emergency care.

Becoming an EMT-B means extensive training in:
• Cardiac and respiratory emergencies
• Patient assessment and critical decision-making
• Airway management and oxygen therapy
• Real-world emergency response

This deeper clinical background directly strengthens how I teach CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS). Instead of just teaching how to perform CPR, I’m able to explain the why behind each step, draw from real emergency scenarios, and help students feel more confident responding under pressure.

I’ve had a few goals this year I really wanted to achieve. Adding BLS to my list of courses I can teach was on of many. Today I completed that goal. I am now officially a First aid/CPR/aed instructor as well as a BLS instructor. Do I dare reach to become an instructor trainer?!

Welcome to CPR with Ren. I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little about me and my business. I went into cardiac arrest back in 2019, At the age of 26. CPR literally saved my life. I searched for a long time after that for my purpose and then one day it just dawned on me. I wanted to teach CPR classes and help people save lives. Fast forward to last year I finally took the classes I needed 2 online, and 2 in person classes to become an instructor with the American Red Cross. I hope to continue my dream and teach people the skills to save lives. Thank you for reading and I look forward to doing business with you. -Ren
