One of my favorite slides from the class tonight “Preserving Traditional Medicine”

It’s automatic to identify a logo that goes with a corporate brand.

It’s not as easy to identify plants, even if they’re if your back yard.

This goes to show how corporations have taken over our lives slowly then all at once. But we still have room to educate ourselves and our families.

This is the knowledge gap that needs to close.

It begins by self education, meeting with others, real-life experiences, then teaching others to do the same.

Imagine if schools taught children how to identify and use medicinal plants.

We don’t have to wait around for someone else to make a change, we are the ones responsible for our own health and knowledge.

Light is the most foundational part of life, meaning your circadian rhythm is something to take seriously… Especially in this modern world where it can be totally disrupted all day long.

It’s nice when we can get into a rhythm of doing these simple things, but life happens! We don’t have to be perfect, but consistent. Coming back to these practices over again.

The good thing is, these things are FREE. All you need to do is alter your behavior and habits. Begin by choosing 1 habit and see how you feel.

👉🏻Instead of scrolling upon waking, step outside or open a window and look at the horizon. Get your feet on the Earth or touch a tree.

👉🏻Give yourself time to have a quality breakfast and lunch rather than rushing with a smoothie or coffee.

👉🏻Have discipline with your screens in the evening. Instead read a book, work on stretching or fascia release, listen to music, call someone. If you need to be on a screen, make it red-toned or wear blue blocking glasses.

When I’ve fallen off of my health habits, these are the basics I return to first. After that, everything can fall into place. This is because I’m more rested, my nervous system is properly firing, my appetite is consistent with steady blood sugar, and my mind is clear.

📣Before you try another supplement, cleanse, peptide, biohacking gadget, expensive superfood… Get the basics down first, and do it consistently. Then you can see where true imbalances lay.

🌀When we return to natural cycles, our biology knows what to do.
