On Friday, I received my Master Teacher certification and attunement!!! I had my first 2 students completed a reiki 1 course!!!! Im so thankful and humbled for all who have supported my journey!!! Thank you to my fabulous clients, my superb regulars and my master teacher, Courtney DeMatteo!! I appreciate you all so much!!! This new year is going to be amazing!!! I had to share this. It is so true and I hear it so often. "I'm so angry and I don't know why." Or "I'm so full of anger I can't control it." As hard as it is, anger is a necessary part of the journey. However, you must move through it, dig deep, find the root and heal. Then the anger begins to subside.

I love the silence the snow brings. It's a blanket of comfort and peace for me. I love having my windows open and experiencing the insulation of the sounds trying to make their way through the tiny snow flakes. Each one so different but working for the same goal. To stick together and cover the ground. Days like these are when I start the fireplace and open a good book. Getting out of my own head and into someone else's for a bit. Anyone absolutely love the snow like I do?

For many years, I refused to see happiness in the holidays, especially Valentine's day. Allowing my grief of father's death by su***de to rule my life and my emotions. I focused on the way he chose to exit this world instead of the good memories. I realized sometime in my 30s, that his life was more important than his death. His death was but a fleeting moment. The way he lived is where I needed to put my focus. I began to struggle pulling memories forward. Little by little, more and more came. Eventually, I was able to shift my emotions and come to peace with not only his death, but the way he chose to leave. I was no longer angry. Instead, I found forgiveness. I found empathy. I found love still in my heart. I shifted my perception and what started as small spark in my heart, grew to show me, once again, the magic of the holidays.
