🧡 March is Self-Harm Awareness Month

Sometimes the people who seem the strongest are the ones hurting the most. Self-harm is often misunderstood. For many people, it becomes a way to cope with overwhelming emotions like anxiety, sadness, anger, or feeling completely numb.

But the stigma around it can make people feel ashamed or afraid to ask for help. That’s why awareness matters.

A simple check-in, a kind message, or reminding someone that they’re not alone can make a bigger difference than we realize. Let’s keep the conversation going and create space for understanding and support.

Today is Black Balloon Day, a day of remembrance for those lost to overdose. It is a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a person, someone who was loved and whose life mattered. Today we honor their memory while fostering awareness, compassion, and change.

We also recognize how deeply these losses impact families, friends, and entire communities. For those who have lost someone they love, we acknowledge the weight of that grief and the challenges that come with it.

Today we remember them and continue striving for a future filled with greater hope, support, and healing.
