Healing Food & Flow with Sara Using healing food and flowing movement for a healthy lifestyle. This includes following an autoimmune protocol diet (AIP) and exercising regularly.

My name is Sara Hill and over the past several years, I've discovered the importance of using natural ways to live life to the fullest. As a part of this process, I became a bon COOK™ Independent Consultant and an Essentrics® Apprentice instructor. I use bon COOK™ tools daily to prepare healthy, creative meals and enjoy sharing how easy and versatile they are to use. The flowing movements of Essentrics® are also a part of my daily routine to keep pain & numbness at bay by strengthening and re-balancing my muscles and joints. My hope is to encourage you to embrace a full life through food and movement and help you find tools to accomplish those goals in your life.

I have found this to be true more often than not

Two of my clients weren't feeling well, yet both of them wanted to keep their training sessions with me this week, because they knew they would feel better after. Liz hasn't had real food for 24 hours and was nauseous with swollen eyes. But I was surprised that she wanted to do an hour of seated and floor work with me. We focused on stress release, and she felt much looser after and proceeded to take a much needed nap.

Another client C, on the other hand, had some newly diagnosed heart issue and was adjusting to a new medication. After two nights at the hospital and two nights back home, she was still feeling weak. Yet she wanted a standing and barre session so I customized/improvised a gentle one for her. She was really tired all day, she said, especially since she was only sleeping 5.5 hours each night for the past week. Yet she felt her energy restored by the end of our session and wished she could meet me for a session everyday.

Now, every case is different and I'm not suggesting that you should all do Essentrics when you aren't feeling well. You need to listen to your body. But such is the impressive scalability of the method that even it can support many cases when we aren't feeling well. I, of course, have always known that, having used that to pull myself out of auto-immune issues. But these cases are great reminders of the efficacy of what Miranda has created.

Whys & Wherefores

My name is Sara Hill and over the past several years, I've discovered the importance of using natural ways to live life to the fullest. This includes following a paleo/autoimmune protocol (AIP) based diet and exercising regularly. As a part of this process, I became a bon COOK™ Independent Consultant and an Essentrics® instructor. I use bon COOK™ tools daily to prepare healthy, creative meals and enjoy sharing how easy and versatile they are to use. The flowing movements of Essentrics® are also a part of my daily routine to keep pain & numbness at bay by strengthening and re-balancing my muscles and joints.

What is Essentrics? 1. A dynamic workout based on the theories of Miranda Esmonde-White. Essentrics simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles. 2. A full-body technique that works through the muscle chains, liberating and empowering the muscles, relieving them from tension in the process. 3. A completely original workout that draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy which create a pain free body. My hope is to encourage you to embrace a full life through food and movement and help you find tools to accomplish those goals in your life.
