Today marked the first day of Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) train-up at Moncrief Army Health Clinic, where 26 candidates began preparing for one of the U.S. Army’s most challenging and prestigious medical qualifications.
Over the next two weeks, candidates will train in Evacuation, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Warrior Skills, and Physical Fitness before testing begins in the third week. Today’s focus was on the Evacuation Lane, where Soldiers practiced critical skills needed to safely move casualties from the point of injury.
Candidates were welcomed upon arrival by COL Christopher C. Pase, Commander and Director of Moncrief, who addressed the group and emphasized the importance of readiness and excellence in combat medical care.
The EFMB represents the highest standard of proficiency for Army medical personnel. At a time when readiness matters more than ever, these Soldiers are training to ensure they are prepared to care for the Warfighter whenever and wherever they are needed.
