Prisma Health–Midlands is a 1,439-bed health care system including six acute-care hospitals in the Midlands region of South Carolina. Recognized nationally as one of the best places to work and receive care, Prisma Health–Midlands also includes the Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group, the region’s largest multispecialty group, which serves as the entry point to the health care system with more than 600 providers serving patients in nearly 100 practices and more than 100 locations. Local community members support Prisma Health–Midlands through two 501 (c)(3) foundations. Prisma Health–Midlands is home to 26 residency and fellowship programs affiliated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
