Growing out gray hair AND a pixie… and I’m loving both!

Well, I guess I’m beyond growing out my gray hair, that’s all in, but I’m now embarking on a pixie grow out. I know first hand that it can be stressful and disappointing but I am hoping that sharing the process with tips and tricks will help someone else feel a bit more empowered that you can have a pixie and not hate your hair when growing it back out.

When I buzzed 2/3 of my hair I had a lot people weigh in on if I would regret it soon enough. Comments from people I’d had little to no previous interaction with messaged about the grow out being so difficult and unflattering.

Luckily for me it wasn’t my first pixie so I knew where I stood. I actually enjoy the grow out., when else do you get to try a whole new hairstyle shape every other month.

I think a lot of these fear based notions of grow outs being miserable and ugly hold so many women back for even trying short lengths.

So here I am, I don’t know how much growing I’ll be doing, I honestly don’t have any hairstyle end goal in mind. I’m just growing and changing… and that’s for my hair and soul ♥️

(I’ve been using products, the sea salt spray is my current absolute holy grail product. I may do a quick tutorial soon but honestly it’s a spay and live your life situation ✌🏻)

I’ve been a bit MIA from here as well as YouTube, not really sure why but I’ve just not been doing my hair and makeup and let’s fact it, hair is what I share. -

So here’s a makeup free moment after changing up the way I do my hair. I for sure have been drawn to more wavy s**ggy pixies on Pinterest as well as fangirling on more messy relaxed pixie. Am I ready to be done with the pompadour quiff though?? I just don’t know 🤔
