2025 is just around the corner! (I know, RIGHT!)

The holidays fly by, and before you know it, everyone’s talking about their New Year’s resolutions.

But here’s the thing—as amazing as these mantras are, they won’t magically change your life overnight.

What they will do is shift how you feel. They’ll make you feel like a total BADASS.

Like you can conquer the world (because you can), and *that* is the energy you want to carry into the new year. 💃

Yup! When you say, "I don’t want to fail," your brain focuses on the fail part. 🙄

When you focus on what you don’t want, your subconscious mind zeroes in on it like a kid in a candy store. 🍬 Not exactly the mindset shift you were going for, right?

Changing how you talk to yourself isn’t just a fun trick—it’s a life-changing tool for overcoming limiting beliefs and building unshakable confidence in yourself.

Ego holds us back from overcoming our limiting beliefs by equating vulnerability with weakness, reminding us of past experiences (when we failed and it hurt!)

And really being straight up defensive when faced with new perspectives.

The ego thrives on comparison and control, convincing us that we aren’t capable or deserving of success.

Because it loves us and wants us to be safe. 😳

So start showing your ego that it’s SAFE to do something new. 👏

Here a few of the top limiting beliefs & mindset shifts you can use to show the ego you’re good & safe. 👇

👀 “I’m not enough.”
Turn it into: “I am enough just as I am, and I am constantly growing and improving.”

👀 “I don’t deserve success.”
Turn it into: “I deserve success and happiness, and I am worthy of achieving my goals.”

👀 “Change is too hard.”
Turn it into: “Change is a journey, and I can take small, manageable steps toward my growth.”

👀 “I have to please everyone.”
Turn it into: “It’s okay to prioritize my needs and set boundaries; my happiness matters.”

👀 “Money is scarce.”
Turn it into: “Abundance is all around me, and I am open to new opportunities for financial growth.”

👀 “I’m too old/young to start over.”
Turn it into: “It’s never too late or too early to pursue my passions and create the life I want.”

If you want your life to change you have to put in the work to change it.

I’ve never been much of a drinker. My dad was an alcoholic and I SAW the dangers of taking drinking too far. I was always a social drinker but always super careful.

But as it turns out, I DID have a limiting belief that I needed to drink to “be fun” at parties or just to handle the anxiety of a large group of people.

I can literally remember this moment as a child when drinking = fun clicked in my head.

👀 My parents had friends over and it was around 2am. I just wanted to go to sleep so I kept going into the living room and turning the music down (like why are you listening to Matchbox 20 at a full 10 anyways?)

On my 3rd trip to turn down the music, one of my parents friends told me “Well, you’re never going to be much fun at parties!”

*Cue adult laughter*

*Enter limiting belief that STUCK for YEARS* 🤦‍♀️

30 years later, as I started working on my healing & limiting beliefs. I have (mostly) figured out who I am. I don’t need a drink in hand to have confidence or be funny.

💕 So I want you to think about this - What beliefs are holding you back?

Sometimes the things we think we need are just old stories we’ve been carrying for too long that some ding d**g put in your head when you just wanted to sleep in peace.

Healing helps you let go of them and step into who you actually are. And it’s amazing! 💪
