The artwork depicts four people working together through rough waters, striving toward the mountain peak of success marked by Basecamp. It’s a powerful reflection of what recovery often looks like - a journey strengthened by teamwork, perseverance, and hope.

The piece inspired everyone who saw it, and we are proud to now display it in our lobby as a reminder to all who walk through our doors that even through rough waters, the path toward healing and success is possible.

Our patients recently tackled an escape room alongside peer support from Basecamp’s Peer Center. 🧩

The Peer Center hosts weekly trips and groups that create space for connection, laughter, and joy in recovery. At Basecamp, we believe healing happens not only through support, but through shared experiences that build hope, confidence, and community.

Sometimes inspiration walks right through our doors.

A patient recently wore a hoodie with a message so powerful, we had to capture it. It was a reminder that recovery is possible, and that connection makes all the difference. When you see someone else doing the work, healing, and choosing a new path, it becomes easier to believe that you can too.

Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in community, through shared strength, encouragement, and the courage to keep going. If someone else can overcome, so can you.

Coco is back! 🐾

After some time away, our beloved therapy dog Coco has returned, and the welcome he received says it all. His calm presence and charming personality instantly brighten the center, bringing comfort, connection, and plenty of smiles to our patients.

For many, healing isn’t just about clinical care, it’s about feeling safe, supported, and seen. Coco has a special way of creating those moments. Whether he’s offering a quiet companion during a tough day or sparking laughter in the hallway, he reminds us that small joys can make a big difference in recovery.

Healing happens in the small moments. 💙 Patients created “Coping Jars” filled with personalized reminders, grounding tools, and healthy ways to navigate difficult emotions. When challenges arise, they’ll have a tangible reminder that they already carry the strength and strategies to move forward.
