I see this mistake often…

Cheerleaders think that the way to get “fast and twitchy” is to only do “fast and twitchy” exercises.

However this is not true.

One of the main ways your fast twitch muscle fibers are developed is through heavy slow resistance training (> 85% of your max)

Plyometrics are great, but plyometrics without strength are useless.
