Are you…
- New to yoga and/or routine mobility work?
- Wanting or needing 1 on 1 instruction and accountability?
- Not making the progress you want?
- Having nagging discomfort or pain?
- Tired of receiving the “run around” or a “cookie cutter” approach?
- Ready to reach the best version of yourself in life and sport?

If so, through individualized 1 on 1 yoga classes and mobility sessions (virtually or in person) you WILL…
- Move with more ease, perform at higher levels, and decrease risk of injury.
- Gain powerful knowledge about your personal movement patterns and limitations.
- Complete training sessions and activities with less restriction, discomfort, and pain.
- Improve your form, function, stability, and balance via enhanced mind/body awareness.
- Develop the tools to cultivate and maintain a steady and enjoyable yoga and/or mobility practice.

As an athlete turned athletic trainer and now yoga teacher, it is my passion to help you move, feel, and perform better in order to live your best! My name is Kathryn, owner of KB Yoga & Mobility. My anatomy background (specializing in bones, joints, and muscles) has taught me to look at the body as a whole; a fully functioning system. I truly believe that a majority of the time, the location of discomfort/pain is NOT the location of the real problem. Every single body is different and each requires special attention.

Still don’t know if this will work for you? If you have questions, send me a message to schedule your 30 minute (free) consultation to see if we can reach your goals by working together!

Did you know that GIVING (gifts, money, kind words, a helping hand, etc.) makes our brains happier and feel more rewarded than when receiving? Today is a great day to be intentional about giving kind words because its....World Compliment Day!

I want to compliment YOU.

You are beautiful, awesome, and have the power to do whatever you set your mind to.

Now its your turn. Give at least 3 compliments today.

Your mood will improve MORE than if someone payed you a compliment & you just might be the highlight of that person’s day. It’s a WIN/WIN.

So today, pay it forward, and take one small step toward a new powerful mindset habit. Spread Joy.

Who do you want to compliment today? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Find yourself standing at the open pantry door craving a snack? Even when you’re not hungry? The hidden culprit could be stress.

You’ve had a rough day, stressful week, or something’s just eating at you (no pun intended), so your brain does what’s comfortable to keep your worries from surfacing.

Stress eating is real. I’ve done it too. Before I know it I’m halfway through a box of tomato basil wheat thins.

Next time you catch yourself hovering at the pantry door scoping out your options, ask yourself “Am I actually hungry?”

If your answer is no, try this:

Make yourself a yummy hot beverage like tea, coffee (preferably in the AM), or a healthy cup of cozy spices (my personal favorite). ☕️

Sit down, grab a pen and paper, and as you sip from your mug reflect and write down 3 good things from your day. (This can be as quick or take as long as you’d like)

You’ve heard me say this before: We can train our brains to focus on the good. Why not nourish our body at the same time?

Win/win!

What’s one of your three good things?

For me, it’s that my pup and I had some sunshine for our walk today. 😊

If you’ve got a friend who needs to focus on some goodness today, pass this on! 💜

What is stress taking from you? Sometimes stress sneaks in, barely noticeable at first. Other times, it comes barreling toward us like a freight train. Either way, stress is a thief.

Stress steals....
Your Peace of mind
Your Health
Your Relationships
Your Beauty
Your Focus
Your Sleep

The list is endless, but the bottom line is that you can change the effects of stress on you and your life.

Start small. Simple changes to your daily routine will develop into powerful habits that help you handle stress.

Box breathing is a great technique for when you’re feeling stressed/anxious or when you need to relax and get focused.

What is stress stealing from you?

If you’re thinking about a change, send me a message & let’s talk.

“People who have strong fears about the unknown have a strong need to ‘know everything’ beforehand, and no one ever knows how to do something before they do it. They GO and LEARN it.”

This is what I read this morning, and something clicked. I’ve been working on something for the past couple months, but I’ve struggled with wanting to know everything before I moved into action.

The truth is, no one can know everything before they start. Learning is DOING.

So I’m going to start DOING and see what happens.

Hopefully along they way you will learn with me as I share with you what I am learning about health, wellness, mindfulness, beauty, business, life, and so much more.

Someone once asked me what my superpower was, and I immediately knew it was learning. What good is learning if you don’t share your experiences with others?

Today marks a change. I am learning, and so can you.

Happy Saturday Friends

Wellness Wednesday!

Today is about movement 🏃🏻‍♀️

Movement is great for both our brains and our body.

We all have those busy days where time flies, we've skipped lunch (or breakfast, or both😅), stared at the computer for the last 3 hours (or more) just trying to finish that one last assignment, work presentation, patient note.

You look at the clock and the day has already passed, and your brain and body are exhausted. Sitting and working can be exhausting (possibly more exhausting than a workout).

Make the choice to be intentional with movement today: get the blood flowing, give your brain short breaks, and stretch!

Set an alarm for every hour, when that timer beeps, take a minute brain break! Go to the bathroom, fill up your water bottle, walk outside for a minute of fresh air, stand up straight.

Anything to get you moving.

You'll come back to your desk, office, or wherever you were sitting feeling more refreshed and focused.

Replenish yourself, put your best foot forward, and rock the rest of your day!

Stay Well Friends 💛

Happy Mindful Monday!

Did you know that 90% of our thoughts are the same from day to day, and 80% of those thoughts are NEGATIVE?!

I challenge you today to be mindful of what your inner voice is saying: What areas are you the most critical of yourself?

Our brain perceives self criticism as a threat, which activates our internal alarms, and this leads to stress and reduced energy levels.

TODAY: focus on an area of your life that you are self critical. Be intentional about saying positive things to yourself (even if you don't believe them).

For example: I tend to have extremely high expectations of myself. In my head this can turn into, "I didn't do enough, I didn't work hard enough, etc." Every time I catch myself thinking this, I STOP, take it back, and rephrase "I am enough, nobody is perfect, I am doing my best."

Our brains perceive these positive comments and affirmations as a safe space, and overtime we can lower anxiety and depression.

You, and only you, are in control of your thoughts.

Start Now, with one area, one phrase, one day. That day is TODAY.

Happy Mindful Monday Everyone, and remember: Be kind to yourself, you deserve it! 💛

The topic for Wellness Wednesday is: Hydration!

Why am I showing you peaches? 🍑

Yes, water is the main way we hydrate on the inside, but we can get creative!

Whole fruits are a great tasting way to hydrate AND get all the good nutrients we need.

Lately, I have been missing my GA tree ripe peaches 😋....what’s your favorite fruit??

Stay Well Everyone 💛
