Have you noticed your little one struggling to keep up with peers? They might benefit from occupational therapy!

Fine motor struggles in kiddos 3 years and older can show up as:

•Tiring quickly when writing or drawing
•Difficulty cutting
•Trouble with buttons or zippers

OT focuses on building strength, control, and confidence. One sign alone doesn't mean a child needs OT. It's about patterns, impact on daily life, and comparison to same-age peers. Kids don't "grow out of" skills they haven't learned yet. OT helps build the foundation.

When kids pretend, explore, imitate, and take turns, they’re doing more than just having fun. Practicing those early skills leads to language blossoming.

From make-believe tea parties to rolling cars back and forth, these playful moments create natural opportunities for connection, interaction, and learning.

Blossom Pediatric Therapy Partners has partnered with Mid-Ohio Food Collective to raise money for the Holiday Meals Campaign. Together, we have raised $230.25 so far, allowing for MOFC to provide up to 575 meals to our neighbors who are facing hunger.

Choose gifts that will help your child's development this holiday season!

Look for toys that support fine motor skills, cognitive development, or speech development. Play that involves hand-eye coordination, bilateral hand use, grip strength, and sensory feedback doesn’t just “pass the time,” it helps build the underlying physical and neurological foundations children need to succeed in school and everyday life.

Fun Fact: Speech therapy is about so much more than talking!
