From gingerbread houses to festive plate painting and a Christmas party filled to the brim! Today was all about joy, community, and togetherness. We even had a special visit from Santa himself! 🎅✨ So grateful for all our Taylor Springs residents who joined us ❤️🎄 Merry Christmas 🎁

Only a few days left until Christmas, and what says Christmas more than eating food with those you love at a place that holds nostalgic memories for all!!

Our IL residents got to eat at the Nutcracker Restaurant in Pataskala, a restaurant and a place that many of the residents would go to with their families for the holiday season.

This time around, the residents decided they wanted the comfort dish of liver and onions. All but one ordered it :) Christmas is the perfect time to relive memories and make new ones, and that's exactly what our residents did. 🎄 🤶

It's the Holiday Season and our IL residents are definitely in the Holiday spirit!

Our IL residents got creative and made some beautiful door decorations. They got their favorite ribbon, grabbed some pinecones, hot glue, and they were ready to go! Anddd after that, some residents helped us really get into the Christmas spirit by decorating the tree!

We love a crafty Christmas, and we especially love making something new (or decorating something old) with our friends. ❄️ 💙

We had a wonderful Drumfit workout today with our Health Center and Legacy Lane residents! The room was filled with music, movement, and plenty of smiles. It’s always such a joy to see our residents staying active, engaged, and truly enjoying themselves. 🎶💪🥁

This Veterans Day, we gathered to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with a special ceremony filled with gratitude and respect.

Our Army Chaplain had the honor of pinning each veteran in our community. We also had the honor of the son-in-law of one of our residents, a distinguished two-star general, who graciously assisted with the ceremony.

In a touching tribute, every veteran’s spouse was presented with a rose, symbolizing our appreciation for their unwavering support. The ceremony concluded with the hauntingly beautiful notes of Taps, performed by one of our very own residents on the piano, creating a solemn and heartfelt moment of remembrance.

We are proud to pay tribute to our veterans and their families, recognizing their sacrifice and dedication to our nation. ❤️ 🇺🇸 💙

🎃🧡 Family Night - Trunk or Treat Version 🧡🎃

Thank you to everyone who came to Trunk-or-Treat last week! If you missed it, here at Taylor Springs we got to celebrate Halloween with some very special people - the family of our residents and staff! It was a special and spooky night filled with lots of candy, lots of balloons, and lots of fun. We were so grateful to have so many smiling faces on our campus. If your kids want handfuls of candy, you know where to come next time!

Our IL residents recently went to the Circleville Pumpkin Show. They got some tasty food truck snacks and saw some pretty impressive pumpkins. It was a perfect fall day, just a little hotter than usual.

HAPPY THEME WEEK! We are so so excited to set sail on theme week! Each day this week we have different dress up days and today was tropical takeover! Residents dressed up with us in their florals and leis. This week we have lots of fun things planned! We can't wait to celebrate with our residents. Bon Voyage! 🌊 🌸 🛳️

🚢🌴 Cruising into the Weekend — Destination: St. Thomas! 🌴🚢

Our community "set sail" last weekend on a pretend cruise to St. Thomas, and it was nothing short of tropical paradise — no passport required!

🍹 We kicked things off Friday with a lively Happy Hour, featuring:

Strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream

Fresh guacamole and warm pita bread

A refreshing tropical rum punch (orange + cranberry juice with a splash of rum!)

🌞 The island vibes continued into Sunday Brunch, where residents enjoyed a mouthwatering menu inspired by Caribbean flavors:

Cheesy scrambled eggs & assorted donuts

Caribbean-style shrimp

Tropical jerk pulled pork

Basmati rice & Caribbean sautéed vegetables

Pineapple fluff & cherry pie to finish it off sweetly!

A refreshing tropical rum punch Mango Orange Juice splash of Cranberry and Rum!!

From the flavors to the fun, this pretend cruise brought the warmth of St. Thomas right to our home. Stay Tuned for more adventures to come this week!🏝️🌊

Last week our IL residents got together with Smith's Mill Health Campus IL residents for our monthly friendly competition of Bingo Wars!

Our residents love to join together each month and see who gets to take home the trophy! This month Smith's Mill Health Campus got to keep the trophy at their facility. Even though Taylor Springs played a good game, Smith's Mill Health Campus won in the final coverall game!! 💙 🤍

This week the IL residents went to Schmidt's Sausage Haus in German Village! Going to Schmidt's brought back a lot of memories for the residents, as some used to work or live in German Village. Everyone had a great time filled with lots of laughter, storytelling, and of course, lots of sausage. 🇩🇪

Our Lynd Fruit Farm adventure continued into this week as our IL residents made cinnamon sugar baked apples with the fresh apples from the farm! The residents enjoyed the time spent together.... and they definitely enjoyed the outcome. 🍎 😋 🍁
