Gentlemen had yellow hospital socks on in an alley near PH, said he used to be a Deputy in LA. The lady under the shelter at a park in Henderson, stated she wasn’t homeless, she rides the bus at night 💔. Both were gracious and polite, one step at a time 🙌🙌🙌

Handed this gentleman a redemption kit (outreach kit) at Popeyes on Flamingo 🦩 and Maryland Pkwy (south central LV), he opened it, and was gracious. One week later, I drove by the same intersection, and he was wearing the purple T-shirt from the redemption kit 😎💪. One step at a time ✨

Lee is one of the kindest humans on the planet 🌎, Lee has been a good friend to officers, and we have known each other for 13 years. It feels great giving back to our LV community! While driving LYFT I handed out a Redemption Kit (homeless outreach kit) to a lady standing at Durango @ 215 off ramp. My passenger also gave her some cash. My passenger then told me he and his neighbors make ham sandwiches to hand out to the homeless living in the tunnels of Las Vegas! +givingback

Public Safety Wellness delivered our first Redemption Kit!

I had an extra Big Mac Meal (extra mac sauce, of course) and gave it to a person completely covered in a white blanket walking down Boulder Highway in LV on a cold desert night. Dennis accepted the food and Redemption Kit, and had a positive disposition. As I began to drive away, I realized I did not give him a bottled water. I yelled out my window to Dennis if he wanted a water? As he jaunted to my passenger side window, I handed him the water, and he had already consumed most of the Big Mac in seconds.
