This time, you can help open the door to what comes next.
More families are stepping into opportunity—and you can be part of it.
Your gift fuels the next for our youth and families:
• Tutoring
• Youth Empowerment & Leadership
• Digital Literacy
• Family stability
When you give, you’re doing more than supporting an organization.
You’re investing in futures.
You’re creating possibility.
You’re helping someone write their next chapter.
And right now, your impact can go even further.
A generous supporter is matching every donation dollar for dollar, up to $ 5,000, for our End-of-Year Campaign. When you give by December 31, your gift will be doubled, directly supporting programs that uplift youth and families.
Let’s build what’s next—together.
Donate today and make your impact:

International Migrants Day (often loosely called International Immigrants Day) means a day to recognize and honor migrants around the world.
It is observed every year on 18 December.
What it stands for:
Respecting the rights, dignity, and contributions of migrants
Raising awareness about the challenges immigrants face, such as discrimination, unsafe migration, and exploitation
Promoting unity, inclusion, and cultural diversity
Highlighting the positive economic, social, and cultural impact of migration
The day was declared by the United Nations to remind countries that migrants deserve human rights and protection, regardless of their legal status.

We are so happy to share that our director, Mr. Burhan Ahmed, has been recognized as a 2025 Most Influential Honoree by Who’s Who in Black Columbus. This recognition reflects the meaningful work he has been doing for our community long before any spotlight was placed on him.
Mr. Ahmed leads with integrity, consistency, and a sincere heart for service. We are truly grateful for the way he supports, guides, and mentors our youth, and for the care and example he brings to Help and Hope Community Center every day.
Because of his leadership, Help and Hope has become a place where young people feel safe, encouraged, and empowered to grow into confident leaders. His influence continues to shape lives in ways we see and feel daily.
This honor simply affirms what we already know: he leads with purpose, serves with intention, and makes a lasting difference in the next generation.
Congratulations, Mr. Ahmed! 💙🥳

Our Somali community is facing coordinated social media attacks from mega influencers and misguided groups spreading misinformation and hate.
We stand for truth, dignity, and justice together with our neighbors.
Hate against one community threatens us all.

Today we remember a moment that reshaped the American story. Seventy years ago, Rosa Parks made a choice — a quiet, resolute choice — to stay seated on a Montgomery bus. It was an act so simple, yet so courageous, that it helped ignite a movement and awaken a nation.
Rosa Parks wasn’t driven by physical exhaustion. She was driven by a deeper fatigue — the exhaustion that comes from enduring injustice day after day. In that moment, she transformed her weariness into courage, and her courage into change.
Her legacy reminds us that progress is not promised. It requires people willing to speak up, to push back, and to demand better when inequality persists. Her example calls on each of us to stand firm in the face of wrongdoing and to remember that even the smallest acts of resistance can ripple outward and shape the future.
As we honor her today, let us recommit ourselves to building a society rooted in dignity, fairness, and justice for all. May her spirit continue to guide our steps and strengthen our resolve.
