"The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) asserts that continuous labor support is critical to achieving the best birth outcomes."

AWHONN's guidelines on continuous labor support was recently updated.

I love everything about this position statement, especially the section regarding doulas.

There's value in doulas in the labor room including the OR for cesareans.

Love my Honey & Cocoa scrub!!

I wash my hands so often and in the winter they get so dry. This scrub is soooo good!

I have many people who reach out to me after I'm already booked for their birth month.

They worry about birthing without support in the hospital.

I've worked with many families who take advantage of my Birth Prep package. This package includes 2 prenatal visits, we work together to build your birth plan and I offer my Lamaze class as part of this package.

The feedback I've gotten has been that they felt educated and prepared for birthing and how to advocate for themselves in the hospital.
