I had the opportunity this week to provide sponsor testimony on HB 718.

This bill helps strengthen Ohio’s behavioral health workforce by creating a clear certification pathway for Qualified Mental Health Specialists and peer supporters, those on the front lines helping individuals and families every day.

At a time when access to mental health care is critical, HB 718 is about reducing barriers, supporting providers, expanding care across our communities, and providing important community protections.
