The Gahanna Mountain Bike Trail at Academy Park earned Second Place in the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA) Awards of Excellence for Capital Improvements under $500,000!

This nearly three-mile trail is packed with humps, hills, and banked turns and is built for riders of all skill levels and designed for pure fun. 🚴‍♀️🌳

What started as a grassroots idea from passionate residents became a true community collaboration, thanks to local riders, Parks & Recreation staff, and dedicated partners. This award-winning trail proves what we can accomplish together.
