Please join us in celebrating our Caregiver of the Year 2025 Sharhonda Newsome! We have also nominated Sharhonda at the National Level in which she will compete against other Visiting Angels Caregiver across the United States.

Sharhonda is an incredibly committed, loving, and reliable caregiver. Her primary client utilizes Visiting Angels for 24hr support. Over a two year span, Sharhonda has not called out a single time. Sharhonda generally works 3p-10p. There have been multiple occasions where our Office experienced a Same Day Callout (sometimes an hour before the end of her shift) and Sharhonda has picked the overnight shift everytime. She traditionally works 40hrs per week, sometimes up to 50-60hrs per week. She understands the importance of our service and the importance of keeping client's in their homes.

Sharhonda has dedicated her life to take care of seniors in their home. She has a Family of her own, but her Clients have also become Family because of the bond she has created through her shining light. She is a true professional that continues to go above and beyond to ensure her Client's are taken care of. This light that Sharhonda shines provides her Client's with warthm, comfort, and security. This blanket of hope calms the clients and allows them to find peace through a difficult diagnosis, because Sharhonda is there to do her best to minimize any fear. We are truly Blessed to have Sharhonda on our Visiting Angels Team!
