This is a great reminder to be patient with those you love struggling this time of year.
It’s also a reminder that it’s ok sometimes to not be ok.
Emotions are not only strong and complicated, but they are temporary.
This pain you feel right now will fluctuate between grief and sadness to hope and then back to grief and sadness and hope again…
Pain doesn’t go away at the command of an outsider feeling like enough is enough.
No time stamp can be placed on grief for anyone.
Pain is a journey that needs navigation in order to find a place safe enough to see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Be that safe place for someone that needs it!!
Be patient and kind to those you encounter that are suffering the loss of someone they love.
Don’t be afraid to talk about the person who passed to those who miss them, in fear of making them cry.
When people are grieving someone they love, it’s best to keep the memory of that person alive, than to avoid the conversation because you don’t want to make them cry!
Crying can be healing and sharing memories that bring joy can be an amazing light to find laughter through tears!
Share great stories of those who are not here physically because their souls hear it and love it!
Sending so much love to all of you struggling to find the joy in this holiday season! 💫
