Our home environments can either support or discourage us in more ways than one.

I know my home offers an TON of distractions but even still, I can normally find a quiet area to meditate (even if it’s in my closet, lol). And afterwards, I always feel so much lighter and more equipped to take on the stressors of the day.

Invitation to check out these 25 peaceful meditation spaces to inspire mindfulness at home.

What pain are you holding onto? When we don't heal the pain and traumas of our past, it often leads to shame, fear, regret and anger….all of which have health consequences.

These negative emotions cause emotional stress…which can then cause physical stress.

Invitation to check out these practices to relieve emotional baggage.

Emotional baggage can be heavy on our mind and overall well-being. Avoid letting it get stuck in your body by releasing it.

Our hustle culture teaches us that we HAVE to be productive daily in order to be successful. And that, in order to be productive, we have to be work, work, working all the time….we have to always be ”on”….

….But the problem is… rest and recovery is JUST as important for our productivity as actually “doing” the work is. And if you felt some resistance come up as you read that sentence, you aren’t alone.

This can be a hard concept to wrap our heads around, particularly when we’ve spent so much of our lives in this hustle culture life.

When we are told that if we aren’t doing the work then we won’t be productive, and thus we won’t be ”valuable“ then creating time for leisure and other activities such as meditation becomes challenging.

But it is through activities such as meditation where our minds expand, our energy returns, and our old patterns can release themselves.

We often view vulnerability as a weakness. And in workplaces especially, many see expressing how you feel as unprofessional.

But to be emotionally intelligent, we cannot shy away from our emotions and the emotions of those around us.

Invitation to check out these three tips to managing emotions at work that will allow you to grow.

Though we’ve made progress in conversations around mental health, there's still a stigma around being "too emotional." We spoke with the emotional wellness experts at Onsite for tips on embracing (and managing) our emotions in the workplace and beyond.

Psychologist Carl Jung once said: the connection between two personalities was like a chemical reaction - both are changed in the process. I think most of us want that - a connection with another human that changes us for the better.

But healthy relationships can be hard to come by, especially if you’re someone who’s experienced a lot of micro-traumas or painful reference events.

Invitation to check out these healthy relationship tips from great minds here.

Do you feel like you really understand an emotion when you are feeling it? Like you really know what it is trying to tell you?

It takes time and energy to process our internal sensations and translate them into a form we can understand. But the benefits of undertaking this inner work are clear and come in the form of higher self-esteem and as healthier relationships.

When we are impacted by trauma, we are likely to find that both our mind and our body have changed.

But, while we carry the impacts of trauma with us, sometimes forever, we can lessen the impact by "medicating" our struggles with proper nutrition.

Being a certified holistic nutritionist myself, this is something that is very near and dear to my heart. I love seeing how nutrition can support our bodies in ways that medication never can.

More than 1.7 million people in the United States sustain a brain injury each year. In some cases, symptoms and long-term complications of a TBI may be improved with nutrition interventions, writes Anne Danahy, MS, RDN.

When we are in tune with emotions, both within ourselves and within others, we can communicate more effectively. This is not only because we can make their own points with more clarity, but also because we can better understand the perspective of others.

Mastering our emotions and elevating our emotional intelligence is by far, in my opinion, the absolute best steps we can take to truly better our lives.

When leading teams, you want to be seen as a trusted leader. Your team looks to you to provide guidance and support, remove roadblocks, escalate risks, and help ensure success. Tapping into your emotional intelligence can help build confidence and trust with your team.

Helping mamas with bpd thrive through holistic nutritional, physical, and emotional wellness solutions.

As a mom who battles bpd myself, I personally know the struggles you endure on a daily basis. After finding the right kind of help, and making some very specific life changes, I can now say that my life is absolutely one that is worth living.

My goal is to help YOU achieve the SAME by providing you with the best information possible to help you make the best decisions for YOU and your family’s health and wellness.

Why? Well 1-because I know what you’re going through and 2-because there’s a lot of garbage marketing out there misguiding you purely for the sake of sales. This should NOT be the case.

After the birth of my son, I became extremely aware of the major issues and companies that stand in the way of accurate and truthful information. So I wanted to get the word out to other moms, particularly moms with bpd because I KNOW how you WORRY....and because when it comes to your and your family’s health, nothing is more important!
