5 years ago I just thought I was doing yoga really well.
Going deeper. Following the cues. And it felt GOOD.

Meanwhile… I was constantly hyperextending my spine in down dog, aaaaand my shoulders were paying for it 😬

No one tells hypermobile people this:👉 the cues that feel best might be the ones hurting you most

Once I learned how to support the pose instead of sinking into it? The pain disappeared.

If you’re naturally flexible, there’s a good chance you’re
going too deep - skipping the strength - and calling it a “good stretch”

Hate to say it, but it's just not true...

A real formula for true peace:
👉 E + R = O
(Event + Response = Outcome)

You can’t control everything happening around you and the law of averages says you won't always get things right…
but what you CAN do train how you respond to things.

Instead of waiting for life to slow down,
build in something that helps YOU slow down inside it.

Just start with one hour.
One hour where you’re not rushing, multitasking, or holding everything together.
That’s how you shift from reacting… to responding.

Let’s be honest…as much as you tell yourself that life will soon slow down, it rarely does.

The calendar stays full. The to do list keeps filling up. The noise doesn’t go away.

We offer a variety of group yoga and meditation classes as well as workshops, private lessons and teacher trainings. We’ve got 7 studio locations in the Columbus, Ohio area - Brewery District, Grandview, New Albany, Powell, Upper Arlington, Westerville and Worthington. At our locations, we promise you a variety of classes taught by friendly, knowledgeable and passionate yoga teachers in a welcoming environment that is conducive for all experience levels. In addition, we lead destination yoga teacher trainings and retreats to share the power of yoga with amazing people from all over. We believe yoga is for everyone and we invite you to join us and experience the benefits of yoga for yourself!
