Thank you, , for the opportunity to present Stronger Every Rep: Building Resilience Through Movement.
Sharing what I’m passionate about is honestly my favorite way to spend a Friday evening!
The feedback meant so much:
“What a terrific workshop.”
“Very inspiring mindset and wonderful discussion.”
“That was great — loved it.”
“Thank you for using your hard stuff to empower others.”
What we explored was simple, but powerful:
Every workout is already resilience training.
The question is whether we’re coaching it intentionally.
When we normalize fatigue instead of labeling it failure…
When we build recovery into the plan instead of treating it as optional…
When we help clients stay present through discomfort…
We’re shaping more than strength.
We’re shaping how people experience hard things.
If this resonates, I’ll be sharing more about a follow-up workshop series for professionals who want practical support integrating resilience into their coaching in a sustainable way.
Because strength isn’t just what we train.
It’s how we help people trust themselves under stress.

A week from today, I’ll be presenting at NETA Fit Fest.
Stronger Every Rep: Building Resilience Through Movement
For over 15 years, I’ve coached people to get stronger.
What I’ve learned is this:
Every workout is an opportunity to build resilience.
Not by pushing to exhaustion.
Not by proving anything.
But by helping people learn how to respond to challenge…
how to recover well…
and how to trust themselves in the process.
In this session, we’ll explore:
• Why resilience is physical — not just mental
• How stress and recovery in training mirror real life
• Simple language shifts that build confidence
• Practical ways to coach effort without overwhelm
As fitness professionals, we’re shaping more than muscles.
We’re shaping how people experience hard things.
If you’ll be at NETA Virtual Fit Fest, I’d love to see you there!
And if this approach resonates, I’ll be sharing more about a follow-up workshop series for coaches who want to integrate resilience into their work in a sustainable way.
It’s about helping people reconnect with their strength — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about intention.
Not just showing up to move — but why we move, and what it restores.
I see it every day:
• Strength changing how people see themselves
• Movement rebuilding confidence
• Consistency creating trust — not pressure
That’s the shift I care about most.
Not perfect programs. Real progress.
This is the work I love. And it’s why I keep showing up.

❤️ Is Your Heart Getting the Attention It Needs?
Did you know half of Americans have at least one risk factor for heart disease, often without obvious symptoms? The good news…Many of these risks are manageable through daily habits.
This American Heart Month, focus on taking charge of your cardiovascular health. 🩺
💡 Simple shifts, big impact:
✅ Move More: Aim for 30 mins of daily activity (walking is perfect!) to improve blood pressure and cholesterol.
🍎 Eat Well: Focus on whole foods & a plant-forward eating style.
🌬️ Stress Less: Deep breathing is a powerful tool for immediate relief—try it now!
🚭 Quit To***co: Recommit to a smoke-free life.

There are days that evoke deep emotion for all of us, and today is one of those for me. As I reflect on starting chemotherapy 7 years ago today, I’m reminded of how easily we can forget the hidden struggles of others. As I looked back through photos from 2018🥹, I realized that while I know I have given a shout out to my husband, doctors, and nurses, I’m not sure I ever properly thanked my kids for their support during that incredibly difficult time. I am so grateful for how each of them stepped up, showing immense compassion, love, and sheer toughness. Although I wouldn’t have chosen that journey, there was a reason we were on it, and it forever changed my perspective on compassion.🤍

The Power of the “Subtraction” Year!
During this first week of the new year, I’ve been reflecting on what I truly want. I noticed my usual pattern: a list of things to “add” and “fix,” quickly fitting my imagination into a “realistic” box for my extremely busy life.
This reminds me of the story of the elephant and the rope—it stays tied to a small stake because it learned it couldn’t break free when young. Often, our “rope” is the weight of constantly adding more goals, resolutions, and pressure. We convince ourselves “busy” is “better,” staying tied to “realistic” expectations.
This year, what if the goal isn’t to pull harder, but to simply let go? What if this is the year of doing less so you can show up with more of yourself? Stop using a mountain of tasks to protect yourself from disappointment, and start betting on your current potential. You just have to decide if you’re ready to stop adding to the weight and start testing what is true today.
The rope only holds as long as it goes unquestioned. If you are looking to bring a fresh perspective on resilience, movement, or long-term health to your community or organization, I would love to connect. Whether through speaking at an event or leading a workshop, if you’re ready to clear the clutter and drop the old limits, book a consult via the link in my bio. I’m here to help!
