Secret thoughts dental teams have on repeat. 👀Which have you thought about? Drop me a comment below and SEND THIS to a team member to see if they can relate😅

When you flip the room fast, seat the patient, and suddenly your brain says… did I wipe the chair. 😬

If you have ever frozen mid task questioning your entire routine, you are not alone.

This is exactly why clear OSHA systems matter, not panic memory checks all day long. 🧠

Good training turns those moments into confidence instead of stress. ✅

“Do we really need to label that?” 😳🧴Let’s break down some common questions I get as The OSHA Lady↓

This is part of my Ask the OSHA Lady series, where I break down real questions I hear from dental and healthcare teams often.

Chemical labeling, safety training, and documentation are not optional. They are required because they protect your team, your patients, and your practice. (SWIPE to read more on this👉)

OSHA and CDC guidelines exist to remove confusion and reduce risk. When things are not clearly labeled or teams are not properly trained, mistakes happen fast. And inspectors notice.

🧠✨If you want clarity instead of guesswork, this is what I do.

RESHARE to show love to the safety officers that do so much for us!

Every dental and healthcare practice has that one person who goes above and beyond with OSHA, compliance, and safety. The one who labels bottles, double checks dates, keeps documents in order, and somehow ALWAYS knows exactly where everything lives.🙌

👉SWIPE to see exactly what goes into doing that job well!
You are not “too much.” You are the reason practices stay PROTECTED, teams stay safe, and inspections go smoothly. And trust me, we notice & we appreciate you!

Sharing my never-seen-before daily schedule.👇Here’s what a typical day in my life looks like!

As an OSHA educator (among many other things), my daily schedule sure keeps me busy! Don’t get me wrong, working from home has its perks! 🙌

Playing with my adorable pets, working on my Thinkletter to deliver consistent value, and more! Even though it can get overwhelming sometimes, I always try to make time to relax, spend time with family, and remember to eat lunch (only because I schedule it in, too!)😊

Have you heard yet? There are some fabulous OSHA events happening this year! In person and online. Check out the links in my bio to sign up OR message me for the direct link!🔗

What’s in my bag? 💼Travel edition! SWIPE to see the essentials I pack as a speaker, educator, and might I add, a pro traveler at this point. 😌

A mix of must haves, backups, and things that make long training days run smoothly. To some it might seem like chaos, but to me it’s organized chaos. Don’t forget those sanitary items to wipe down high-touch surfaces on the go.

Because being prepared for anything is kind of my thing. 😉
Now, I’m curious…

What are your essentials you keep in your bag? Leave me a comment below, let’s get some ideas from each other!🤝

This is the 1 CLEAN HABIT I will never give up as an OSHA expert 👀👇

When you spend years teaching safety and infection prevention, it kind of rewires your brain. I separate cleaning supplies from food without thinking. I label supplies in my own house. I keep wipes/sanitizers in my purse for random everyday situations.
Is it a little extra? Maybe sometimes.

Is it safe, smart, and something I fully stand by? Absolutely!✅
Safety is not just something I teach to dental and healthcare offices. It’s a mindset I carry everywhere. Once you see the risks and consequences, you can’t unsee them. And honestly, that’s not a bad thing!

Now I want to hear from YOU🫵

What is one clean or safety habit you do that you’ll never give up?

2026 motto: NO MORE confusion around safety! Here’s HOW👇
There, I said it! Because nothing says “new year, new me” like an updated Exposure Control Plan and working eyewash station. 😏

Too many practices wait until it’s urgent… or worse, until they’re cited! This quick checklist will help you spot what might need a little TLC before it becomes a big problem.

SWIPE to see what you need to do in 2026 to kick off the year right!

When you train with me, you’re never in the dark about what’s required!

My clients know exactly what inspectors look for, PLUS they have year-round access to me for questions, not just once-a-year training.
Want this too? I’ve got you covered👇

Is OSHA out to get you? Let’s clear this up… 👇
No, they are not lurking around corners trying to shut you down. 😅

What they are doing is making sure you and your team are safe. ALSO, this can help protect your patients!

They’d rather you just doing what you should be doing, than giving out fines everyday.

I sat down with the Risky Healthcare Business Podcast to talk about what really happens during inspections, why good offices still get cited, and how to stay confident instead of confused. 🧠

This episode is packed with truth bombs, tips, and a few stories that might shock you👀

Meet Karen K. Daw, MBA, CECM

Hey! I’m Karen and I’m so glad you’re here.

Often overheard before I enter a practice is that compliance is overwhelming and costly, and training is boring. I’m here to tell you there’s good news! What if compliance can actually make money for the practice and training was something the team looked forward to?

I invite you to contact me now to schedule a complimentary 15 minute assessment. Together, we’ll create a rockin’ safety program!
