Full bulk with no signs of stopping.
A little late post! Visualize your goals, make a plan, and execute that plan to the best of your abilities. Everyone who ever did something cool didn’t do it by accident, so don’t think you’re going to just fall into greatness! Those who earn that title put in their time, pay their dues.
Set your goal, develop your plan, execute.

Prepped up some chicken breast sautéed with green peppers, onions, and lime! I thought it was great, maybe tastes better than it looks!
Point is, meal prepping is only as boring as you let it be. It can be fun and creative. It can be relaxing alone time or bond building time with a loved one. Try new stuff, figure out what suits you and gives you the best chances for success!

to being “shredded.”
Consistency is key. Consistent diet, consistent training. Day in and day out using moderately heavy weight, bringing my self as close as possible to failure each set.
My diet changed, my training changed, but I was consistently on top of it, and down for the cause. I understood the changes I needed to make, and applied them.

❗️WANT BIG BICEPS?❗️

Take things slow! Feel every contraction and squeeze at the top. It’s important to extend your arms fully, otherwise you won’t use your full biceps, and won’t get the most out of your time training them. I like to flex my triceps at the bottom to make sure I’m reaching full stretch and exploiting maximum range of motion.

You can switch up your grip, but curls are king for building biceps 👑 A hammer grip will train your brachiallis, the outside of the arm. And reverse grip will increase forearm size and strength.

Take your time, don’t be afraid of light weight. High reps and time under tension is the name of the game to building biceps.

(more like but shhh.)
Many years, many challenges, many goals, many changes! Don’t be afraid of change! If you’d asked me then what I’d be doing now, I would have told you hopefully graduating with a bio degree and playing collegiate soccer. That’s obviously not where I’ve ended up, and I couldn’t be happier.
It’s okay to embrace change, to listen to signs, and do/Chase what makes you happy! If you have big goals, refuse to blend into society. Put in the time and the work. Be an honest person, do the right thing as often as you can, and it will come to you.
Set goals, break them, and set more!

And on Sunday, we rest 😴
Rest days are important, vital even! It gives you the opportunity your body needs to recoup, repair, and prepare to take on the weights again.
Not to mention, your central nervous system system needs a break too. Overworking can lead to injury, plateaus, and mentally burning out from the gym. That’s why I rest as hard as I work! A healthy balance of workouts : rest days will yield the most efficient and healthy results.

Today’s final set of bench press! 👊🏼
You should be choosing a weight that you cant get more than your target reps of. I advise all my clients to use a spot during their compound lifts (do as I say yada.) Remain humble! Choose a difficult weight that makes you work for each set. If you know you couldn’t do another set of your target reps after you’re done, then you are using the right weight!
It is imperative, for aesthetic purposes, to avoid ego lifting. Or in other words, sacrificing your form so that you can tell (lie to) your boys about how much you bench
Lift hard guys. Ask for a spot, be safe!

5 years. 🗓
I wish I could say there are short cuts. I wish I could say “it’s always easy.” I wish I had started sooner! But there aren’t short cuts, it’s not always easy. I myself have struggled with motivation, and even lack of knowledge at times. I’m always learning!
I have pursued many paths, I have failed many times! I bring that knowledge into training day to day, and to each person that trusts me with their training and diet regiment. I’ve tried training twice a day, to four times a week. I’ve tried intermittent fasting, I have tried dirty bulking, lean bulking, su***de cut, calculating my maintenance to cut.
Above all else, I strive bring what I have learned, all my success, and all my failure, to the aid of all those who seek my counsel. Over those years I have pursued many paths to achieve my goals. I am confident I am able to bring that knowledge to the table, and achieve the goals of all those who have a desire to put in the effort for their results.

When Hampus came to me he had a lot of drive and desire to become the best version of himself that he could be. He gave me the opportunity to steer the reins to achieve is goals, Hampus lost nearly 40lbs in 12 weeks, and we are now beginning his bulking phase to accumulate lean mass!

Really looking forward to see what the future has in store for Hampus, as well as all those who I will have the pleasure to work with in 2019!
