On September 19, 1963, at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University), 12 students founded what is now the nation's fifth largest, predominately African-American social service fraternity: The Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated.

Yesterday, the Beta Mu Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Theta Fraternity Inc. partook in service at Ohio States’s MLK Day of Service helping out CRIS an independent non-profit organization that serves the refugee and immigrant populations in Central Ohio.The chapter later attended and volunteered at the MLK March and Program at the Lincoln Theatre!🌟

Last Weekend seven Beta Mu alumni brothers were officially recognized for their selection into The OSU Black Alumni Society Under 40 Class of 2025. They also received awards to recognize accomplishments in their individual fields such as Arts, Sports, Medicine & Wellness, Education, Public Service, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Law & Government. Congratulations Brothers in continuation of digging for excellence and impact!!! OLE!!!

Join the brothers of the Beta Mu chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. at our Toft’s Grand Scoop ice cream fundraiser! With your support 10% of all sales between 5pm to 10pm will go to chapter to help us fund events like Midnight Breakfasts or donation to American Red Cross.
