5 Tips for Mindful Eating 🍽️✨
Mindfulness isn’t just about being present in your thoughts—it’s also about being present with your food. Here are 5 tips to help you eat more mindfully:

1️⃣ Let Go of Labels:
Stop classifying foods as “good” or “bad.” Instead, focus on how certain foods make you feel. Food is nourishment, not a moral dilemma.

2️⃣ Know Your Triggers:
Identify what causes you to overeat or snack mindlessly. Is it stress? Boredom? Emotions? Becoming aware of your triggers is the first step toward making intentional choices.

3️⃣ Remove Distractions:
Eating while watching TV or scrolling your phone? It’s easy to lose track of how much you’re eating. (Ever found yourself with an empty bag of chips and wondered, Where did they all go? 🤦‍♀️)

4️⃣ Savor the Moment:
Take time to really taste your food. Notice the textures, flavors, and smells. Eating slowly and mindfully not only improves digestion but also boosts satisfaction.

5️⃣ Plan Ahead:
Planning meals and snacks can help reduce mindless grazing. When you have a plan, you’re less likely to make impulsive choices.

Mindfulness March: The Power of the Pause

March is here, and I’m declaring it Mindfulness March—a month dedicated to taking a breath, taking a pause, and truly being in the moment.

So often, we rush from one thing to the next, letting life blur past us. But what if we slowed down? What if we became more mindful of the little moments—the way the morning sun feels on our skin, the taste of our first sip of coffee, the sound of laughter from a loved one?

This month is about noticing all of it. The big moments, the small ones. The words we speak to others and, just as importantly, the words we say to ourselves. The choices we make each day, shaping our health, our happiness, and our well-being.

Let’s make March the month of presence, awareness, and intention. Let’s pause before we react, breathe before we speak, and be mindful of the energy we bring into each day.

For years I’ve struggled with various health issues. This included a mysterious shoulder paralysis in 2000 that lasted over a year and had me visiting every type of medical specialist there is and started my exploration of alternative and holistic forms of healing & wellness.

Fast forward to today and my passion for helping others achieve their own, personal goals has led me to establishing my business as a women’s wellness coach. My goal is to use my knowledge as a certified nutrition coach, combined with my own experiences, research, along with the advice and experience of other wellness professionals to provide you a place to come to for answers.

I certainly won’t have all the answers. I offer several products and services that will benefit most people. And, where I cannot help directly, I have a community of friends and trusted professionals who specialize in various areas and will be more than happy to connect you.

At the end of the day, I’m most satisfied when I’ve helped connect someone to the resources they need. Let my knowledge, experience and connections help make your life easier and healthier.
