One of our best events of the year!

Join us this Saturday, October 25th, for our annual Hope Hang-out Halloween Party and Talent Show. We’ll have pizza and candy (of course). Halloween reminds us that recovery can be fun! Dressing up lets us laugh, be creative, and celebrate how far we’ve come!

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years administrative or bookkeeping experience (nonprofit experience preferred)

Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Clear communication and collaborative spirit

The Hope Dealer Community is offering a program to provide you with the resources to help you live your best life in sobriety.

These resources include; computer skills, financial literacy and credit building, job readiness with a resume and interviewing skills, G.E.D., Career and Trade skills track and Peer Support/CDCA career track.

Join us as we build a foundation of recovery through community, working a program, reaching our goals, and re-creating this life we thought we would never have.

There is a solution. Almost none of us liked the self-searching, the leveling of our pride, the confession of shortcomings which the process requires for its successful consummation. But we saw that it really worked in others, and we had come to believe in the hopelessness and futility of life as we had been living it. When, therefore, we were approached by those in whom the problem had been solved, there was nothing left for us but to pick up the simple kit of spiritual tools laid at our feet.

The Hope Gathering is a recovery-based, inclusive community that acts as a bridge between the streets and faith. We are a people who desire to work on our recovery while strengthening our relationship with our Higher Power. We work the Twelve Steps. All personal beliefs and values are welcome.

We are doing this! We signed up for it! We now know a new freedom and a new happiness. Our whole attitude and outlook on life has changed. What seemed at first a flimsy reed, has proved to be the loving and powerful hand of God. A new life has been given us or, if you prefer, "a design for living" that really works.

Hope Gathering was hoppin' last night. We have our very own outlaw - Jesse James. He brought a powerful message of Hope.

The great fact is just this, and nothing less: That we have had deep and effective spiritual experiences which have revolutionized our whole attitude toward life, toward our fellows and toward God’s universe. The central fact of our lives today is the absolute certainty that our Creator has entered into our hearts and lives in a way which is indeed miraculous. He has commenced to accomplish those things for us which we could never do by ourselves.

Hope Gathering tonight at 6:30! We doing this?!

Life will take on new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends - this is an experience you must not miss. Frequent contact with newcomers and with each other is the bright spot of our lives.
