Rest isn’t earned. It’s required.
Taking time to recharge allows me to show up fully for my students, support my schools, and provide the high-quality services they deserve. Burnout doesn’t serve anyone—especially our kids.

A regulated clinician = better outcomes, stronger relationships, and more meaningful therapy.
Rest is part of the work. 🌿

Happy Midwinter Break 🌸❄️➡️☀️
Bud to Blossom is escaping the Michigan cold for some much-needed rest and renewal so we can return refreshed and ready to support our students, families, and school teams.

Communication is more than sounds and sentences—it’s dignity, identity, and belonging. As SLPs, we have the privilege of helping students find the confidence to share their thoughts, their needs, and their stories.

Today we honor Dr. King by continuing to listen, to advocate, and to make space for every child’s voice to be heard.

Voice is power—and being heard is a right.

✨ Hello, 2026 ✨
Last year asked a lot — and taught a lot.
I’m so grateful for the families, educators, and teams who make this work so meaningful.
Stepping into this year with hope, purpose, and a heart for helping every child blossom in their own way 🌸
Thank you for being part of this journey 💛🌱

Navigating the IEP process can feel overwhelming — especially when the language is unfamiliar and the stakes feel high.

These are five things I wish every family knew before walking into a meeting 🤍
You don’t have to be an expert. You don’t have to get it “right.”
You just deserve to be informed, supported, and heard.

Save this for later or share it with a family who might need it.

Stuttering in preschoolers often begins between ages 2–5 and is common during rapid language development.

It is not caused by parents, stress, or a child’s effort, and pressure to “talk smoothly” can make speaking harder.

An SLP’s role is to help families decide whether monitoring or support is needed — and to support confident communication in a calm, low-pressure way. 🌱
