🎬✨ Exciting news from our neighbors at the Commerce Chamber of Commerce!

Downtown Commerce will be featured in the upcoming holiday movie Evergreen and Ever After, filming during their Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th!

This year’s parade theme is “Candyland,” and the Commerce Chamber is inviting everyone to come downtown, enjoy the festivities, and even have the chance to appear in the film as a background extra! 🍬🎄

📍 Parade lineup begins at City Park and will arrive downtown at 5:30 p.m.
🎥 Filming will continue after the parade at 9:00 p.m.

Don’t miss this magical evening of lights, music, and moviemaking right here in our area!

Last night's Future Focused Town Hall was a great success. We appreciate everyone who came out to listen and ask questions. The meeting was also streamed live. If you were unable to attend in person, please feel free to revisit the recording. Ask us your questions; we are eager to answer them and listen to any suggestions and insights the community and Chamber members may have for us. I've included the paper that was handed out at the meeting that covers our Vision & Mission Statements, along with our Values, Goals & Objectives.

We want to give Howdy Lisenbee a BIG THANK YOU for stepping up and acting as our Interim Director during our season of transition and guiding us through our strategic planning. We are grateful for your insight and guidance. Although he may no longer be the Interim Director, he remains a member of our Board for the City of Commerce.

Important Community Update

Friends and neighbors — A few weeks ago, we received difficult news that Hunt Regional Hospital was closing its emergency room in Commerce. This ER has been a lifeline for our community providing critical care for families, seniors, and workers when minutes matter most.

The Commerce Chamber of Commerce is deeply concerned about how this closure will impact not only public health, but also local businesses, schools, and our overall sense of safety.

We’re asking everyone to stand together and make your voice heard. Please take a moment to sign and share the petition urging Hunt Regional to reconsider or find a sustainable alternative solution.

Please note, donating funds is NOT a requirement to sign the petition. The petition hosting site does ask if you would like to make a donation to support all the petitions they host, but it is 100% not required.
