In this timely and heartfelt episode, we unpack what is happening with ICE across the country and the very real fear, grief, and uncertainty many of our communities are experiencing. As Latinas, leaders, and humans, we reflect on how we are choosing to show up during this moment. We are refusing to look away in trying times by standing up for dignity, staying informed, protecting our peace, and caring for one another with intention.

This episode is not about panic or politics. It is about humanity. We share what solidarity looks like in real life, how we are having conversations with our families and children, and ways to remain informed while advocating for compassion and justice. If you have been feeling heavy, angry, scared, or unsure of how to hold it all, this conversation is for you.

At the Level Up Latina Podcast, we believe in growth that does not abandon our people. In moments like these, community care is leadership.

You are not alone. We are in this together.

Sometimes productivity doesn’t start with a to-do list… it starts with intention (y con música de Bad Bunny)

This Sunday, I invested my time where my heart needed it most—a mommy & daughter café date after church and grocery shopping together 🤍☕️

And here’s the magic:
When I poured into what mattered, my brain felt lighter… and I actually had the energy to meal prep for the next two days (my matcha 🍵 latte helped too 🥰)

✨ Time spent aligned isn’t time wasted.
✨ It fuels everything else.

This week on the podcast we had our monthly random show. In it we talked about us 10 years ago and how we feel it all turned out.

I (Coach Irene) kept thinking about how proud I was of dreaming big and how so many of those BIG AUDACIOUS, SCARY dreams CAME TRUE!

I just had the privilege of celebrating turning 45 in paradise!

My next set of goals go beyond me, so I’m manifesting even bigger. The world feels crazy heavy today, as such, we MUST continue to speak on it and advocate for change. Life is simply too short and too precious not to!

One of our favorite episodes of the month drops today!

This one is pure Latina realness—from our unfiltered Latina Moments and hilarious new-year fails, to reflecting on where we see ourselves 10 years later 2016 vs 2026 (because dreaming big is kind of our thing). Add in plenty of random banter, laughter, and those “wow, that hit” moments, and you’ve got an episode that feels like a heart-to-heart with your favorite amigas.

You’ll laugh with L*L, nod along in agreement, and still find yourself stretching your vision for what’s possible in your life.

Don’t miss Episode 325… press play, relax, and let the conversation take you exactly where you need to go.

Some days, leveling up looks like wanting to do more…
and realizing your capacity is already full.

With everything happening in our country and the world, it’s easy to feel heavy, helpless, or like whatever we’re doing isn’t enough. If you’re feeling that way too, I want you to know—you’re not alone.

Today, I’m (Coach Cecy) reminding myself (and you):
Rest is not giving up.
Boundaries are not apathy.
Caring deeply doesn’t require burning yourself out.
We’re allowed to pause, feel, and still believe change is possible. 🤍

Every month, the women of Level Up Latina gather for a live virtual workshop inside our group coaching community, the Guilt-Free Squad. This month’s session was especially powerful. Coach Irene invited her husband Diego to facilitate an honest, hour-long conversation about relationships and how to navigate our differences.

The response was so strong that we knew we had to bring the conversation to our podcast listeners. In this episode, we recap the biggest gems from a wide-ranging discussion that touched on everything from the emotional world of men to conflict, communication, and how couples really show up for one another.

You don’t have to be married—or even in a relationship—to appreciate the insights shared in this conversation. Fair warning: there is a brief TMI moment involving periods and birth control, so maybe save this one for your commute or headphones.

Our hope is that this episode resonates deeply and also gives those curious about our monthly Guilt-Free Squad workshops a real taste of the depth, honesty, and value these sessions offer.

🤍 The next photo in this carousel marks a special event that happened 20 years ago! Long lasting relationships that have evolved and grown to thrive deserve to be celebrated. 🤍

Congrats to Coach Irene celebrating 20 years of marriage this week! Enjoy Fiji!!! 🌴

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—a reminder that love, service, and justice are legacies we build daily.

This weekend was bittersweet for me, Coach Cecy. I celebrated my twins turning 9—full of joy, laughter, and gratitude—while also holding space for the 2nd anniversary of my mami’s passing.

Life teaches us that grief and gratitude can coexist. And just like Dr. King reminded us, we keep moving forward—rooted in love, faith, and purpose.

Episode 323 is about choosing reflection and ease over autopilot in your health, your relationships, and the way you show up for yourself.

We talk honestly about letting go of heavy holiday flows, supporting others without losing yourself, and building consistency during imperfect, demanding seasons of life.

If you’re navigating change and trying to move forward with more compassion and clarity, this conversation is for you. Show includes practical tips to lean into life ‘DOING YOU’ without worrying about family judgements, in the aftermath of holiday craziness, and all while embracing a pace that works for your personal peace of mind!

“Doing you” for Coach Irene meant printed nenus at Christmas dinner. Hear more about it on the pod! 😝

Welcome to Episode 322 of the Level Up Latina Podcast, the very first episode of 2026.
In true L*L fashion, we’re starting the year grounded, intentional, and in community. For our new listeners, bienvenidas; and to our OGs, thank you for continuing to grow with us. In this episode, the women of L*L reintroduce ourselves, not just with what we do, but with who we are becoming.
This conversation was recorded on Three Kings Day, and while Coach Cecy was in the kitchen baking not one, but two roscas, inspiration struck. It felt like the perfect moment to pause and talk about new year intentions, not resolutions rooted in pressure, but intentions anchored in alignment, purpose, and grace.
As always, there is so much wisdom in shared experiences. Each of us brings our unique talents, gifts, and perspectives to the table, with the hope of reminding you that your growth matters, your voice matters, and your dreams are valid.
This episode is an invitation to reflect, realign, and Level Up together as we step into a new year with clarity, confidence, and corazón.

Level Up Latina Co-Founder Highlight of the Day! Meet Coach Veronica 💫

Pop quiz!
Can you guess…

💭 Where she’s from and where she’s raising her family?
📚 Her college journey and early leadership roots?
❤️ Her favorite roles outside of coaching?
😎Her hobbies?
🔥 What lights her up most about coaching first-gen Latinas?

✨ Where she’s from:
Coach Veronica is a proud Southern California native, raised in Watts she’s always been deeply rooted in community, culture, and service. She’s now raising her four children in Compton, The Hub City, with her hubby!

🎓 Her college journey:
She’s a proud UC Santa Barbara alum, where her passion for community building began. While in college, she co-founded Hermanas Unidas, a student organization created to support and uplift first-generation Latinas navigating higher education—long before coaching was even a title.

🌸 Her favorite roles outside of coaching:
Mama of four, community connector, event-builder, and lifelong cheerleader for women doing the thing! She loves creating meaningful experiences, bringing people together, and reminding women you don’t have to choose between family, ambition, and joy.

😎Her hobbies:
Driving her little ones around to all their activities! But when she has a moment she enjoys being outdoors in nature hiking, a good concert, a live sporting event, karaoke or random meet up with amigas. Oh and using her kids headphones to podcast!

🔥 What she loves most about coaching first-gen Latinas:
Watching women adjust the volume in their voice & speak up and seeing them get out of their head & into their life! Nothing fills her cup more than seeing a woman go from self-doubt to self-trust—and finally choosing herself without guilt.
