Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today.

Grateful for the opportunity to have visited his memorial and to reflect on the lasting impact of leadership grounded in service and compassion.

One thing I’ve learned about myself over time:
I’m comfortable taking ownership, working independently when needed, and collaborating when it strengthens the result. Building trust and focusing on long-term impact matter to me.

That clarity is helping guide the direction I’m leaning into next.

Starting the week the same way it ended last week, by doing the work!
Staying focused, learning as I go, and contributing where I can.
Looking forward to a productive week ahead!!

Always a fun event to attend!

Wrapped up the week doing some behind-the-scenes learning and problem-solving.

It was a good reminder of how much I enjoy rolling up my sleeves, learning something new, and jumping in where I can be helpful to the team.

Always grateful for opportunities to contribute, learn, and keep growing.

Happy Friday.

One thing experience has taught me:
The work that matters most usually isn’t flashy.

It’s listening before speaking.
It’s explaining things clearly when others are overwhelmed.
It’s showing up consistently and following through.

Those are the skills I’ve relied on most, and the ones I continue to value as I think about what’s next.

A lot of my experience comes down to this:

Helping people feel informed, connected, and engaged.
Whether through communication, community programs, or digital strategy, that’s the work I’ve enjoyed most, and the direction I’m leaning into in 2026.

Excited for what’s next.

Honest question as the year begins:
What’s one thing you’re doing differently in your career in 2026?

For me, it’s being clearer about the kind of work I want to do—focusing on roles rooted in community, communication, and meaningful impact.
Looking forward to what this year brings.
