Our March Mom of the Month is Shelby! 💚
Shelby has been with us for over a year and is part of our FIT4MOM team, coordinating the family outings and Moms' Night Out that bring our village together. Her warmth and energy make everyone feel welcome from day one! We are so grateful for you, Shelby! Read on to learn more about her 👇
🏡 Which town do you live in?
Epsom, NH!
👨👩👧👦 Who else is in your family?
My husband, Sam, our 2.5 year old, Olive, and our 1-year-old THIS MONTH, Forest! We also have our first (furry) babies, Haggis and Dumptruck...Dumptruck is a fancy little lady, don't get it twisted!
💼 What do you do for work or what did you do before you became a mom?
Before I was a mom I worked in Travel and Tourism, and I continue to do so as a travel agent working from home. My niche is active and adventure travel, so think hiking, biking, running, racecations, etc...Vacations that bring you to the most amazing places on Earth, and let you see things that usual tourists don't get to see, and in a way that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at different cultures! And my goal is to mix both my jobs someday, being a mom and traveling, into one, and worldschool my kids for some time!
⭐ Name 3 of your favorite things
I LOVE swimming! It brings me so much peace, and I think I am going to start doing open water races this year! I love dancing - you'll find me first and last on the dance floor GOING HARD wherever I go! Lastly, I love writing (journaling, freelance writing, whatever it is)
💚 What do you love about FIT4MOM?
I have said this before, but I love that Fit4Mom is more than just workout classes. I feel like every single woman who comes along brings something different and their own personality that adds to the community. There is no cattiness, no need for competition, no feeling that you are being judged, are behind, or need to be "THE BEST" in your parenthood/motherhood journey. Truly, everyone is there to be a shoulder to lean on, to share their highest peaks and their lowest valleys without feeling guilt. Everyone shows up for themselves and in return are able to be there for each other.
