This award recognizes individuals whose exceptional service contributions to the UCA community, professional community, and beyond have made a meaningful impact. Ashley has demonstrated dedication through volunteering for charitable organizations, serving on advisory boards, donating professional expertise, participating in committees, and conducting outreach programs—all of which have improved conditions within our community and enhanced quality of life for all.

Congratulations to Hal Halvorson from the Department of Biology for receiving the Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity Award, which recognizes individuals whose contributions to their disciplines have been exemplary. Through original work in research, scholarship, or creative activities—such as performances and artistic productions—they has expanded human knowledge, interpreted the human experience, and enhanced quality of life.

We also want to congratulate Louis Nadelson from the Department of Leadership Studies for being the finalist for this prestigious award. Well done to both of you!
