Some days arrive quietly, and some days arrive glowing with color. Sunday mornings often feel like a gentle pause the universe gives us… a moment to breathe, reflect, and remember that life is still blooming all around us.

This morning Carl Ray noticed this flower standing boldly in the sunlight, not hiding, not shrinking, not worried about yesterday or tomorrow. It simply opened itself to the light and allowed the day to begin.

And that moment carried a message.

Life does not ask us to be perfect.
Life simply asks us to open our hearts to the light that is already there.

Rays of Reflection…
Every day we are given a chance to bloom again. Some days we feel strong and vibrant. Other days we feel quiet and still. Both are part of the same beautiful garden called life.

So today, take a moment to step into the light, breathe deeply, and allow yourself to simply be.

P.S. If you have a moment today, please keep my dear friend Diane DeBiase Wall in your prayers. She is one of the kindest and most thoughtful souls I know. Even while walking through very heavy moments in her own life, she still finds ways to think of and care for others. She lost her husband a few years ago, and now her son is going through a very difficult time as well. Diane carries herself with such grace, love, and strength, and I would love for our beautiful community to wrap her and her family in prayer, light, and healing energy today. She truly is a ray of light in this world.

And as you move through your Sunday, remember not to take life too seriously. Smile a little more, be kind a little quicker, give someone a compliment, hold the door, send the message, share the love. The world could always use a little more of that beautiful energy. Have a peaceful and beautiful Sunday. 🌺✨

😂 When people see me in real life after knowing me from Facebook/Instagram and do that little “wait… is that really him?” stare…

Good night beautiful souls 🌙✨

The funny thing is sometimes the energy builds up and you can feel the moment coming… someone recognizes you, there is that pause, that smile, that look of “I know you from somewhere.”

Usually that moment turns into a quick little conversation right there in the aisle or the parking lot. Someone will say they watch the posts every morning, or that they love the stories, or that something I said made them laugh that day. And we will stand there smiling for a minute like old friends who just ran into each other out in the wild. And honestly it brings me pure light knowing that… although sometimes it makes me feel like I’m the unofficial neighborhood morning show that somehow escaped the television and wandered into the grocery store.

And then it all comes to a halt when we ( I get back to car, Josh usually exits the scene, lol he shy) get back in the car and Josh says, “Okay, calm down, Madonna.” And we both just start chuckling and laughing.

But the funniest part is that a lot of people have started recognizing Josh too… and you would not believe how many people recognize him from that Freddie Mercury mustache. So sometimes I have to turn around and say, “Okay, you calm down, Freddie Mercury.” And then we are both just sitting there laughing all the way home.

The online world can feel big and glowing sometimes, but the truth is we are just people trying to share a little joy, a little laughter, and a little light with the world.

And I truly appreciate every one of you who stops, smiles, waves, or says hello.

Now the day is winding down.

Place your crown gently on the nightstand, let the kingdom rest for the night, and we will do it all again tomorrow.

Not rage baiting and not chasing negativity. That has never been what Frequency Through Food is about.

I share places that bring good energy, good service, and good food. If something truly lands low on the frequency scale, most of the time I simply don’t post it. I would rather support the community than tear someone down.

For example, I actually filmed a video today where the frequency score was about a 4/5. (Video made it look like a 10 thou) Instead of blasting it online, I decided to hold it for now and reach out to the manager first before deciding if it will ever be posted.

Josh is actually way more lenient than I am with scoring, and he gave it a 4… and the funny part is it is one of his favorite places. So sometimes even places we love can have an off moment.

Frequency Through Food was always meant to highlight the good, celebrate the people behind the businesses, and keep the energy positive in our community. If the frequency is high, you will see it. If it is not, sometimes the best choice is simply not posting it at all.

This morning Carl Ray paused for a moment while walking by these flowers and noticed something simple but powerful. None of them were trying to be the same. Some were bold and bright. Some were soft and quiet. Some were standing tall and others were leaning gently toward the light.

Yet together they created something beautiful.

Your life does not have to look like anyone else’s to be meaningful.
Your path does not have to match someone else’s garden to be extraordinary.
You are meant to bloom exactly as you are.

Too often we look around and wonder if we are doing life the “right way.” But nature never asks that question. Flowers grow where they are planted, reach for the light they are given, and trust the season they are in.

Today is simply an invitation to do the same.

Sometimes you just have to live life in your own frequency. Not everyone will understand you, not everyone will support you, and not everyone will like what you do. And that is perfectly fine. Community should feel like community. Support should feel like support. And adults should be able to see things differently while still respecting each other.🙏🏻

When you focus on joy, peace, love, authenticity, and the things that make your soul feel good, life becomes a whole lot lighter.

So enjoy your coffee, stay true to yourself, and keep moving in the frequency✨️ that feels right for you.

Sometimes the places that surprise you the most end up becoming your favorites.

Part 2

About a month ago we stopped by C**k-A-Doodle Do in conway here in Conway South Carolina and said never judge a book by its cover. The food absolutely blew us away and earned a solid 10 out of 10.

Today we were invited back for their re grand opening and they did a fantastic job. The place looks refreshed, shiny, clean, and full of that classic diner charm. It still has that welcoming Conway hometown feeling, just polished up and glowing a little brighter.

This time we tried the diner side of the menu and ordered the Friday steak special. It comes with a ribeye steak, side salad, baked potato, and a roll. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked just right. And the whole steak dinner special is only $14.99 which makes it an even better hometown find.

What really stood out was the feeling. It reminded me of those Friday evenings visiting family where you sit down to a steak dinner with a fresh salad and everyone is just enjoying the moment together. That warm family dinner vibe cannot be manufactured and they absolutely captured it.

For dessert I had my eye on the pineapple upside down cake, but Josh and I both went with the strawberry cheesecake. Since it was their big reopening they surprised guests with a slice on the house which was such a sweet touch. The strawberry cheesecake was fresh and the perfect ending to the meal.
