As this month comes to an end, we are wrapping up our Life Around the Pond theme 🐸🌿

Today, we made our very own mini ponds! The children added rocks, grass, sand, and even a little duck to bring their ponds to life 🦆💦 Such a fun and hands on way to end our pond exploration! 💚

Did you know that The KindNest Early Learning Center is currently the only licensed family childcare home facility in Conway, SC?!

There is only one other licensed family childcare home provider in the Myrtle Beach area, which makes licensed home programs like mine very unique in our community.

Many people ask why my tuition is similar to a traditional childcare center. The answer is simple: I provide the same level of care, education, and accountability, just in a smaller setting.

As February comes to a close, we are reminiscing on our sweet Valentine’s Day party at The KindNest Early Learning Center 💕

Our little ones had such a wonderful time celebrating friendship, kindness, and love. From festive crafts to giggles shared with friends, it was a day full of joy and meaningful moments😊

☔️🌈 Bella and the Umbrella Week Fun!
We have been having so much fun this week diving into our Bella the Umbrella interactive book and activities! The children have loved bringing the story to life through hands-on learning, creativity, and play. Including making their own colorful umbrellas today ☂️🎨 Story time is always better when we can connect it to meaningful experiences and lots of smiles 💛📚

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the powerful message he shared about kindness, equality, and love. 💛

Although The KindNest Early Learning Center is closed today in observance of MLK Day, I couldn’t resist sharing this sweet and meaningful art activity we did in honor of Dr. King. The children created their own “I Have a Dream” clouds while we talked about peace, love, kindness, equality, and diversity. It was such a special moment and way to introduce these big ideas in a child-friendly way.

These moments are exactly why purposeful play and heart-led learning mean so much to us. Too cute and too meaningful not to share.😊

✨ Big News at The KindNest Early Learning Center! ✨

I am so excited to officially share that we are now partnered with an experienced, research-based learning curriculum and are proudly teaching a state-licensed early learning program right here in our in-home daycare!

This is such a big milestone for me and for The KindNest 🪹. I’m beyond grateful to be able to provide a nurturing, structured, and developmentally appropriate preschool experience for our little learners.

I have a new and exciting update to share for The Kindness Early Learning Center!

After much thought and reflection, I have decided to transition The Kindness Early Learning Center into a preschool program serving children ages 2 through 5. This change comes from my deep passion for early childhood education and my desire to best support the growth, learning, and development of the children in my care. Focusing on this age group will allow me to provide a more intentional, structured, and enriching preschool experience that truly meets their needs.

Thank you to our families for your continued trust and support. I am so grateful for each of you and excited for what’s ahead for our sweet learners 💛✨

We are so grateful for all the love and support. Thanks to you, we are currently at max capacity! We do have a waitlist, and I’m happy to add families who would like to be contacted when a spot opens.

I’m also offering drop-in care on Wednesdays and Fridays, depending on availability.

🌟 This Week at The KindNest Early Learning Center 🕊️🪹

It’s only Wednesday, but we’ve already had such a fun and memorable week with our little ones! 💛

🏡 Family, Home, and Me: The kids explored their own families and homes, learning about what makes each of us special. It’s always heartwarming to see them share and celebrate their families!

🌳 Our Family Tree: Everyone got creative adding their loved ones to our classroom family tree. It’s amazing to watch their little hands and big imaginations bring their families to life!

🦖 Dinosaur Sensory Table: Our explorers traveled back in time with sand, dinosaurs, and erupting volcanoes. Tiny paleontologists in the making had a blast discovering, building, and learning through play! 🌋
