Do you enjoy making a difference in someone's life? Are you compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy? If so, Home Caregivers has availability though our Adult Foster Care Program. This is an opportunity to provide companionate change in someone’s life. Compensation for these services is $3,000 - $9,000 per month.
Adult Foster Care is a residential service allowing individuals who are not able to live on their own, due to their age or disability, to reside with a family in their local community. The person supported is encouraged to become a part of your family and community. Those supported are typically wanting to exit facility style care in effort to regain independence to attain a fulfilled life. Under this arrangement, you will supply the member with their own bedroom. The person supported must receive individualized, person-centered services that promote independence to adapt, retain, and improve skills necessary to reside with you in a community setting. Services required, consist of but are not limited to acts of daily living such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and medication administration. To obtain the desired success, this person must be treated as a member of the family.
Our goal is to provide a level of care where the member is loved and treated like family. This arrangement expands their vitality through empowerment and community integration. It is essential that the person supported must be welcomed into your home with compassion and care. Living conditions within the home must meet proper criteria, background information on adult family members is required. Our application process is simple. Following our review, we run a background check and schedule an in-home meeting where an evaluation will be held for you, the foster family. Once approved, we will introduce you to potential members. Finally, we will assist with the transition process and continue to provide routine oversight, in the form of scheduled phone calls and home visits.
