Hi friends!
Do you ever wonder why your faith feels slow, like you should be farther along by now? Maybe you’re tired of starting strong and then drifting, or you feel guilty when prayer and Scripture slip to the edge of your day.

God doesn’t shame you for growing at a human pace. Colossians 2:6-7 says that as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, you can keep walking in Him, rooted and built up in Him. Growth happens when you stay close—one honest prayer, one small step of obedience, one conversation with a trusted friend.

And when you can’t see progress, remember Philippians 1:6: He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. You are not alone in this process. Keep showing up, and trust that His love is shaping you into a life marked by faith, hope, and love.

The world becomes a strange, mad, painful place, and life in it a disappointing and unpleasant business, for those who do not know about God. Disregard the study of God, and you sentence yourself to stumble and blunder through life blindfolded, as it were, with no sense of direction and no understanding of what surrounds you. This way you can waste your life and lose your soul.

Plunge yourself in the Godhead's deepest sea; be lost in his immensity; and you will find, a balm for every wound, a balsam for every sore and a quietus for every grief. Should you abide there long enough, you shall come forth as from a couch of rest, refreshed and invigorated.

Nothing can so comfort the soul; so calm the swelling billows of sorrow and grief; so speak peace to the winds of trial, as The One who created us all.
