I could smell the lilacs before I spotted them. It was not a huge bush so I only took what was ethical and fair. I made a bit of syrup and candied some for decoration on a future cake. I have two cans of syrup left if a local would like to buy one! Great on pancakes or in a cocktail. Thank you Lilac 💕

There have been so many plans for harvest that have slipped through my fingers this year. BUT this rose is right where I park my truck at home, reminding me every time I leave and come back that she is there. Today was finally the day I took Rose up on her invitation. I’m so glad I did. ALSO I’m using my new dehydrator for the first time and it’s so fancy and cool!

1. A person who walks for pleasure, especially in countryside.
2. A straggling or climbing rose.
Im really proud to say that every plant that I use I ethically harvest myself. I do that by taking many walks, so you see, Rambler is a very fitting name. May I always be a rambling wild wonderer ❤️

LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL! I’m getting really excited to bring out my new products for the season. This year I feel super proud of my creations. It’s not that I didn’t feel proud before, it’s more about the growth and evolution of “rambler” that has my heart bursting. The labels for these babies are in the mail on their way. Until I get them, do you all have any guesses to what these are?

Well I’m back on my BS. I left for 6 weeks to be with family then got back to AK and played in the snow for several weeks skiing, traveling to new parts of AK, glacier excursion, cabin trips. I am a rambler, wild wondered, after all...... Now that the Alaskan summer season is at my heels I’m putting my nose to the grind stone and Rambler is back at the top of my list. Keep a look out for me, some cool stuff is headed your way!
